It wasn't "Phenomenal" but I think this was just for her to get used to the large crowds again and to get her confindence back up after the VMA performance, and TBH it looks like it's working. :cheer: I just hope she feels confident enough to sing live more now :cheer:

yeah it was playback 99% :P but I loved it!!! she looks soooo much more confident she's getting back on track as a performer...the next few ones will be even better :D

She seems to be much more confident now. When the performance ended, she seemed a bit nervous about the crowds response, and since that response was great I think she felt confident.

 

Ahh just noticed how nervous at the end she looked, hopefully it's a boost for Saturdays performance.

I liked it. She had her mic on you could hear her singing along to certain words, but thats all it was singing along. The whole stage, video, dancers was brilliant. For her first performance i'm happy, i think after performing it a few times, she will be fine. They probably didn't want to push her too much

Well she's got Star Academy performance tomorrow so hopefully she'll gain some more confidence! :D

Wow, I am so estatic that she has regained her stage presence! I'm sure that getting her first performance out of the way took a major load of stress off her chest. AND THAT ENTRANCE WAS GREAT.

 

And I think she was singing the verses live with heavy backup...the chorus was definitely pre-recorded though! This is a great sign of thing to come!

 

I give the performance a 8.5/10

I noticed the VMA's similarity too. :P However, there were a few more I noticed too! :o

I just noticed how out of place she looked :lol:

You have an old man presenting in a tux plus a bunch of stuck up rich people in round tables and Britney in some Madonna-esque costume dancing around :lol:

Not a single note of that was live... all pre-recorded/mimed. How disappointing. She looks amazing though.

well she's always lip synced, so i don't think it's disappointing. Her costume is similar to one of Madonna's on her the sticky + sweet tour :P

She didn't sing live - that's obvious, but not disappointing. I agree that she was rather strolling around, but you could feel her stage presence - she was energetic, fit and good-looking :) I liked her outfit.

I can't quite understand why she mimed tbf. It's hardly as if she was given a difficult routine: in fact much of that choreography was wooden and weak with pretty much nay direction. If she does more vigorous routines then I understand. Or you'll hear is her out of breath which no-one wants. But that wasn't the case this time...

 

It just shows the standard that's devloped over the last 5 years or so. People REALLY are no longer tolerant of miming.

I think it was a reasonably good performance.

Obviously not great but its only a German awards show so not the biggest venue, indeed just for a confidence boost.

I doubt she will sing live on X Factor, even Mariah Carey mimed a lot of her performance.
