Shut up :kink:

Anyway, I've realised that I know to jump on bandwagons when I see them, so I've spent the last half hour compiling my list of my favourite forty discoveries from the contest (which unfortunately rules out some utter tunes that I knew prior, but oh well) - which includes songs introduced to me by their being in contention for entry in the contest, even if they weren't entered for several contests after.

And just to make things interesting, I've ghosted my entries in to show you all how I consider my entries in comparison to others :heehee: That rules out the oh-so cheap Rachel Stevens, Jordin (with Tattoo but not Freeze), Vanessa, Stefy (:() and Elena as I knew all of these songs at least half a year before I entered them!

Anyway, on with the list :dancing: I'll try to be quick with it :smoke:

40: VIII [14th in SF1]: Frahliso - Charli XCX - Neon Fashion and Glowstixx

39: XI [9th in final]: Angelicland - Agnes Carlsson - On and On

38: XI [6th in final]: Kellyana Kingdom - Megan McCauley - Tap That

37: XI [7th in final]: MdiÄe - Isabel Guzman - Mysterious

36: X [14th in final]: Sangria - Yelle - Ce Jeu

[iII [19th in final]: KopeÄka - Jordin Sparks - Freeze]

---

Well, we begin the list with a veritable dearth of entries from the most recent contest, with a horrifically underperforming entry from Frahliso's 15 year-old post-new raver Charli XCX at 40, and a Swedish popfest from Angelicland (the greatest FSR Rontvia entry that never was :heehee:) providing their only entry onto the list at 39 :( At 38th we also have Kellyana Kingdom's sole entry on the list, but as they've only entered the once thus far they can be excused, with Megan McCauley's gorgeous P!nk rip-off Tap That likely to be joined by M$ney - Future if it remains unchanged as their entry for XII ^_^ MdiÄe and Sangria get their first of several entries on this list with two portions of respectable Europop! :cheer:

And KopeÄka get their first entry with Jordin's Freeze which recently became the least successful entry to enter the final of the Best of the BJSC contest, beating a couple of winners in the process :heehee: Freeze also distinguishes itself as the only entry from III on this list as I already knew the epic Not Ready To Make Nice and Mercy :o

I'm particularly fond of 'Mysterious' and 'Freeze' from that bunch. It's funny to think a song that finished 19th originally could end up being voted the 18th best entry in the first 10 contests!

On a random note, since getting my new computer the other day the c from Kopecka and Mdice is showing up as a capital A with an umlaut. :(!

You shall now be known as Kopeaka and Mdiae. -_-

35: VII [22nd in final]: Triodopolis - Saving Jane - Supergirl

34: IV [1st in final]: FSR Rontvia - Sara Bareilles - Love Song

33: XI [5th in final]: Quotosibb - Robyn/Christian Falk - Dream On

32: XI [26th in final]: Land of Jack - Anna Abreu - Vinegar

---

It's a right story of criminality for two of these :( The sole Triodopolitan and Jackese entries were both robbed, possibly as fans of the tracks were split by two much more successful tracks that were fairly similar in the same final (I Kissed A Girl for Supergirl and On and On for Vinegar) - either way, totally undeserved :arrr:. In 34th we have the first of several Rontvian entries in the list with Love Song, which I've now quite gone off of but was a fantastic discovery at the time! And in 33rd we have Dream On, which is just simply gorgeous

Up next I have a slice of Scandipop that is just too Eurovision for words, possibly the most unjust robbery in the competition, an underperforming dark horse and a Natasha Bedingfield-related entry; with two of these entries from the same country!

:heehee: Just watch Janelle repeat the feat in BoBJSC XI-XX :kink:

And I think you may require help with that :o I shan't have my glorious caron rendered as an umlated A :smoke:

I think it's possible, it's one of my faves from XI. ^_^ It's probably my favourite entry of yours since the first three contests. :o

I don't really know how to go about fixing it, I'm quite useless at that sorta thing. :(

I have this 'A' as well, i thought maybe it's because i've just re-installed Windows :o

Great choices so far :o Quite like them all so far! Wonder how long it will last for though :kink:

Charlie XCX Deserved to Qualify

I wonder if Dalisska will appear........ oh and Maybe I should make one of these :P

I'm getting the "A" too......although it used to just be a block........Actually there's a funny looking block next to the A when I'm looking at it too. It's like: Kopea(weird block)ka

I'll try copy and pasting it: KopeÄka (Is that what it's supposed to be?)

31: IX [4th in final]: FSR Rontvia - Sanna Nielsen - Nobody Without You

30: VII [14th in SF1]: Kingdom of Shadow - Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Heartbreak! [Make Me A Dancer]

29: VII [14th in final]: Ashton - Red Blooded Women - Colour Me Dirty

---

Just three this time as I messed up and had Ce Jeu in my list twice, so promoted Charli XCX back to her rightful place at #40 :kink: We have the Eurovisiontastic 'Nobody Without You' at #31 from the near-miss Eurovisionite Sanna Nielsen - better luck next year? :heehee: We have what is considered to be the greatest finalist that never was at #30 with the Great Kingdom's first entry of two (no prizes for guessing the other :kink:) which was nearly prevented by KopeÄekfestivalen! (although thankfully If You Go came third in the final and is the last entry that made the KF! final that hasn't yet been entered!); and at #29 we have a shockingly underperforming entry from Ashton with Colour Me Dirty, a perfect slice of Trashleytastic pop  Hopefully RBW will remedy this underperformance in XII!

Up next we have the Natasha Bedingfield-related entry, one of the worst performing entries from one of the best performing countries, a very undeserved non-qualifier and something a little Macedonian :kink:

It's coming up normal for me...I think it's because I'm using a proxy to access BuzzJack as it's blocked here! :arrr:

I knew I recognised it from somewhere! I was also considering sending a Sophie Ellis-Bextor track in light of her winning the reject contest and it was between that and 'Everything Falls Into Place' but I thought someone had considered 'If You Go' before. Then I scrapped the idea anyway. :heehee:

28: XI [3rd in final]: FSR Rontvia - Pixie - Boys and Girls

27: V [22nd in final]: MdiÄe - Utada - Exodus '04 [Double J Remix]

26: I [6th in final]: Bokia - Karolina - Se Lazam Sebe

25: XI [16th in SF2]: Kathaldazia - Jamali - Secrets

Well, it IS Natasha-related according to Rich's ubiquitous BJSC sig :heehee: Either way, Boys and Girls was one hell of a grower and I now wish I'd given it a lot more than 3 points! I also wish I'd been able to vote in BJSC V as I would've been able to give the criminally underrated MdiÄen entry 8 points which would have softened the blow to their record a little - Utada definitely didn't deserve 22nd :( In at 26th we have one of two entries from the first ever contest, with Bokia gaining their solitary entry on my list with Karolina's Se Lazam Sebe, which frankly pisses all over Mojot Svet  And at 25th we have urban pop at its very best - how the hell did Jamali NOT qualify?

Up next we have two winners, a glorious dance anthem, the sexiest rip-off of 'The Monster Mash' ever and one of next year's hottest tips!

35: VII [22nd in final]: Triodopolis - Saving Jane - Supergirl

wow, I can't believe how many people I introduced to Love Song via this contest  I know a fair few stumbled across it because of my personal chart, by the time I finally got round to sending it to BJSC, it had already been in my top ten for a good 4 months at least :heehee:

I also think that On & On would have FSR Rontvia potential! Herzebania were going to send it once I think actually...

I had heard Love Song prior to the contest but hadn't really paid much attention to it - it was BJSC which finally forced me to pay attention to the track, IIRC I gave it 7 or 8

I also have this 'A' maybe it's Tyron's computers as opposed to everyone else's, let me post that letter and see how it comes up on other people's computers: č

It's my proxy I think, it keeps coming up normal when people post it for me!

Pixie  I have many ubiquitos BJSC sigs :smoke: my favourite was the Headhunted one :heehee: Boys & Girls I hope can be a hit here next year, it's a great pop song, and I'm not just saying that because it's my entry...great to see Sanna in there too with 2008's best Eurovision entry that was never considered for Eurovision, although I do wonder if it had at any point been considered for her MF entry before they picked Empty Room...it's exactly the right length for the ESC

I also have this 'A' maybe it's Tyron's computers as opposed to everyone else's, let me post that letter and see how it comes up on other people's computers: č

I can see that just fine. It's Tyron's fault.
