Finally someone who talks a bit of sense from Team Britney! She probably is nervous and that explains the laboured movements, scared of getting stuff wrong and being slammed in the press. Well i suppose, she needs to be given time to get her flow back, but people who think this performance was out of this world or something are clearly deluded. I hope she continues to improve in her performances! :D

Yeah i think she will. She seems ok doing what she did the last 2 nights. I will be shocked if doesn't improve after a good few performances. It will interesting to see her perform her old songs like Slave 4 U as it has a full on routine.

I never said her dancing was FLAWLESS. I was just saying she had lots of energy and amazing stage presence!

And the performance was not "out of this world" but it was very good.

I loved it :w00t: much better than Bambi :D

I could hear sing her live over this one with the backing track of course :P

the screaming fans helped a lot !!! much more energy

here's the HQ on YouTube:

Oh thanks Boyan!
:w00t: that was a much better performance than the BAMBI one! I think the crowd really helped her get through it! :w00t:  Good to have you back Ms. Spears
OMG look how much effort she put only in single perfomance....imagine how the tour is gonna be...HAWWTTT...lucky them who's going :s

I just compared her vocals between this and BAMBI's performance...and she is definitely singing some parts live. They sound different...either that or Jive was smart enough to make multiple pre-recorded vocals!

They usually cut off face mics right after the performance anyways, just because they run back stage and don't want the audience to hear etc.

Not saying this was the case for Britney, but that's what happens with live performances as well.

anyway I just compared Bambi with this one...u can hear the difference esp. in the end...womanizer ohhhh babyyyyyy...it is longer and it sounds live??

Edited by Addy!

I wouldn't doubt she sang bits live. Could be the reason she wasn't doing some hardcore dance routine throughout the song with her dancers!

She doesn't sing live - if she were, we would know for sure.

She sings along at the end - the last chorus - and also a bit in the slow part (Maybe if we both lived in a different world...).

I wonder why you are so willing to be convinced that she sings live at least something.

She's not and it's OK because this just isn't what Britney's performances are all about.

She looked happy and that's what matters. The outfit is great!!! :)

It was another great performance. But why did she have to mime? She will probably mime on The X Factor tonight. :(
Much improved from the Bambi performance, still not quite up to old britney standards but it was very good, I know she hardly ever sings live but I'd love to hear it once in an while, surely shes not that bad live
I thought it was a bit live, esp at the end (right at the end, that last "yeah" or whatever it was), but yeah. Nice performance!

Thanks Clyde!!!

I think she mimed the whole thing, here and at Bambi as well. The parts that seemed live are pre recorded imo, but I wouldn't know as a certainty anyways, its just what Ive perceived from both performances so far.

Hopefully we will have some live tonight at the X Factor, I doubt it, though.

I think some of it was live, but obviously not all of it. She seems to do more live parts (It may only be a little but it's still something) as she does more performances!
I'm sure some of it was live, why else would she keep touching her mic? The performance itself was very good, Britney herself has to do a LOT better on X Factor though. I really hope Dermot speaks to her afterwards!
