02 (ii): JLS - You Light Up My Life Who on earth decided to give them a flipping Whitney Houston song? Let's see... A bit shaky at the start, when they sing together on songs like this, they are a good group. Much better than their first performance! 8/10

What the hell is Simon on about? Just because he likes the song choice doesn't mean they sung it good.

simon must have been lisening to a differnt song there as that was not a great vocal by jsl

JLS - You Light Up My Life Mmmmm. Better than the first performance, but nowhere near as good as what Louis & Simon are making out. 6/10

I don't rate her much as a vocalist and I don't think she has much of a tone to her voice (and her songs always end in big anti-climaxes), but I reckon Alex is safe tonight.

Alexandra - Don't like the song but sung it fukkin beautifully, has a great future in singing, way longer than Diana and Eoghan who will be the Top 2 in the final

hmm... something is missing, rocky start, much better in the middle, and picks it up near the end. Average 6/10

Alex just brought the house down. She and Ruth really, really should be in the final. :(

That was by far the best performance of the show thus far! Brilliant.

I thought JLS were really good. Was v.Westlife like, but they didn't play it safe with the song choice, they could have gone for something much easier that suited their style but they didn't. Top marks for that.

 

Bahh Alexandra's doing exactly the stuff I hate in that performance! Was v.good vocally, but too shouty and forced for me. The tears are out though.

No it wasn't!! Ruth's 'Purple Rain' was! (and IS the best performance ever on any UK Reality Music Show).
