iTunes are a nightmare unless put under pressure from the record company and have been a nightmare the last few months with new releases. Not gonna argue about it because I've experienced lots of difficulties finding new stuff on there until midweek. But Girls Aloud were added early few weeks ago but that was probably the only good timing in my opinion they've done apart from now with Take That and Britney already on. End of my opinion.

What do you mean "Sunday sales don't count towards the day's chart"?! The cut-off for a week's chart is Saturday at midnight, Sunday is the start of the next chart week!

That's what he said. Wasn't it?

Wow great for Britney ! Maybe she can be up to #3 next week, behind Leona and Take That !
Hmm, possibly reading it back again.

I love it when people are having the same sort of day I'm having!

Wow great for Leona and Britney!

Would love Leona to get #01 with 'Run', best #01 in AGES. 'Greatest Day' is so f***ing bland, at least I could see the appeal in 'Patience', 'Rule The World' and 'Shine'.

Britney up to 2!!!!

YAY!!

She has equaled her peak...and for the first time since being released...overtook Beyonce!!

I've been playing the B side anyway ... its better. Having said that ... GD is a lot better than some other stuff in the charts. I mean ... Womanizer is a bit pants too isn't it? And I still haven't even heard Leona's Run!

Oh it is! I liked it at first and then I realized its the same drone again and again. And like Mart!n - it sounds like she's singing 'one banana, two banana'. Yes I know Greatest Day is repetitive too but no more than Britney' latest offering (which to be honest - after a few drinkies sounds just like Gimme More).

And I will listen to Leona - even if I have to make do with a youtube visit ... even if I like it ... I won't download because I just don't download songs - I wait for the physicals ... and I won't buy the album because I only like two songs on it - BL and BIT (and possibly Run).

I hate to burst the bubble but what makes people think Womanizer is going to get any higher in the official chart and peak at #3 is talking nonsense, all her sales are going to be focused on the album  , the X Factor effect will dry up mid week.

Sh it! Don't post so soon after me Mart!n! When I saw your name as the last in the thread ... I thought you were going to tell us off for going off-track again!

Fantastic for both Britney and Leona, no doubt now then that Leona will be huge.
Incredible for Britney and Leona. I think Leona will make #1 next week. :D

I can't find Will's new downloads on itunes  , but I guess no-one else is worried as they are too obsessed by Leona and Britney to bother with artists who produce their own music and who always put in the effort to sing live when performing :rolleyes :P :

Never known so much hype around a release as there is around Run  , a Snow Patrol cover, lest we forget :D

I remember the days of Evergreen, Long and Winding Road and Light My Fire. Westlife, Beatles and Doors covers. Now that was hype ;)

Well I bloody well hope so, she's not sung more than 4 songs at a stretch yet, it'll kill her to actually do a tour, when she finally gets round to doing one that is.

Has she even done a proper gig yet?

Will never got half the hype Leona gets for just changing the key and worbling

Oh come on now, let's be fair about this, he did 3 covers 7 years ago, but in that first year he also did 2 Arena tours, in his 2nd year he released Fridays Child and did a further 3 tours, summer, theatre and arena. Leona is re-releasing her debut album again and a cover version in her 2nd year. Anyways, let's not get bogged down with talent show winners in here, it's the iTunes thread. :D
