I wish they'd start using Alex Fletcher (Diane) more, she only pops up like once every couple of months! So under used.

I don't watch this anymore BUT I've just seen the trailer for the Abersoch week next week and thank God poor Esther looks like she'll finally get a bit of (LESBOB) happiness without that Ruby WITCH destroying it!

Claire Cooper is just fantastic.

I really really do hope Esther gets her 'lesbob happiness' - she's my fave character!

I've started watching again over the Summer and I'd really quite like Ruby to die a slow and painful death. HER FACE OMG. So annoying!

I really hate Ruby as well, the way she treats poor Esther half the time! Love Sinead though, that trio of friends would be perfect if Ruby just went away and someone else replaced her...

It's getting QUITE GOOD again after months of being utterly dire with that shite story about Theresa/Liberty/Ethan and non-stories involving Darren & Nancy / Ruby & Ethel etc.

 

Really hope Texas doesn't die, I love her character so much!! :( One of my favourites actually, so frustrating to see no one believe Lynsey either - really intrigued to see how it all plays out. Silas really is genuinely creep too, especially the way he looks at Texas!

Hollyoaks has been amazing lately.

 

Brendan and Ste are just brilliant. They ooze sexual chemistry and I find myself rooting for them when you really should. Emmett Scanlan who plays Brendan is just magnificent and will have a big career when he ineviteably leaves Hollyoaks by next year.

 

I'm also loving the Sila's storyline and it's getting brilliant. I love that they have bought Lynsey into it and I love her one woman crusade. Texas, I should like her but her acting is dire.

 

I also love Darren and Nancy. They have brilliant chemistry and don't even have to have a brilliant storyline to shine.

 

 

I do like Nancy alot (she's my favourite character actually), I just wish she'd be given a story with a bit more depth becaus she's obviously a very talented actress and always works well with what she's got - which is why she made her story with Darren work so well - even though it was a bit of a non-event really.

Oh I agree with you on that bit. She needs a decent dramatic storyline because Jessica Fox is so good at it! She's kinda been a bit part for the past couple of years which is depressing. Her last decent storyline was with Jake, I believe?

Hollyoaks really is the most underrated soap on television.. Ste & Brendan are fantastic together they really are. I think this is arguably the strongest cast they have had in years. I love Mitzeee, amazing actress.

 

Did anyone watch the Tuesday E4 (tomorrow C4) It was amazing and creepy with what Silas was doing and a fantastic touch getting Beth Kingston returning to help make it more dramatic.

I can't wait to see Silas' next victim, I really hope it's not Texas or Nancy though :(

 

And I totally agree Lee, Hollyoaks is SO underrated, it's the best soap on TV for me! I'm especially loving Esther, Dodger (not just the looks :wub:), Jacqui (quite possibly my fave character in all soap), Cheryl, Silas, Sinead, Myra and Nancy. Ruby can go and get Silased though tbh.

 

Oh, and I really can't stand Brendan for some reason :( Ste is fantastic but I can't take to Brendan at all, I find him incredibly overrated!

LOVING Lynsey framing Silas! Getting really good now, I think it's building up to something pretty dramatic in which either Texas or Lynsey dies though sadly :(. The girl who plays Lynsey is a pretty damn good actress too!

I'm hoping it's Rae or Ruby who gets 'Silased' but it's gonna be Texas or Lynsey for sure :( Rae wouldn't be a 'dramatic' death really as she has nothing to do with the storyline, and I doubt they'd kill off Ruby.

Tell me about it, I get annoyed if her face is on my screen - it's SO punchable! God knows why they think she's 'fit', she looks like an utter dog!

It's SO cringeworthy watching her 'sessions' with Pete! And I can still remember the time when, after Esther questioned if Pete would even go for with him being a teacher and all, she said 'he's a man Esther, he can't help it...' which I always find myself quoting out of the sheer cringe factor of it all!
