So weird to think when Lynsey came in I just thought 'why is she even here? Gtfo!' and now she's probably the standout star of the show! I will LOVE if she manages to expose Silas and gets gloating rights, I've wanted it since she found out. It'll just be amazing for her to be the hero after even Cheryl ends up on Silas' side! I REALLY REALLY hope Lynsey doesn't die, unless it's a situation where she actually finds proof, is about to show Cheryl and Silas kills her before she manages to share it, and then Cheryl would be really guilty. But either way, can't wait to see how the storyline ends, even if I don't want really want it to end as it's just so gripping :lol:

Fantastic episode again, Silas and Lynsey are fantastic and work very well together, very impressed with Cheryl also and can't wait to see what happens when Silas is exposed.

Cheryl is really shining in the past few episodes. Glad to see they are actually using her instead of just having her for comedy value.

Am I the only one frustrated with Hollyoaks ratings? They're getting 1.2m+ (Overnight) and getting 700,000+ E4 now, what is a lot better from last month 900,000 on Channel 4 etc, the acting has improved majorly on Hollyoaks and I think Hollyoaks is actually better than Emmerdale Etc, No idea how that pulls in so much. 4OD also revealed that Hollyoaks has the most 4OD views what was over 700,000.

 

I hope Gaz & Liberty leave Hollyoaks as soon as possibile as They're deadwood despite Liberty improving. I would also get rid of #jonno, Ricky and bring in the curvy girl from Hollyoaks later... also bring back the stunning Loretta. Gilly returns soon, which is something I am looking forward to as Jacqui

sleeps with Rhys for the first time next week, It's also revealed that Rhys and Jacuqi go on a break in the next weeks, I guess Jacqui breaks down over the Gilly case

 

 

I also hope they axe Theresa and Ethan, I think they should be brave and either send Theresa get arrested for the murder of Calvin or die herself (Personally she should have died during the lift shift as they would have been beyond effective, Silas maybe should have killed her) I hope the costello's stay, I am dissapointed Heidi's leaving as I love her. Saying this Diane MUST interact with the rest of the village as she's horrifically underused. Will & Dirk Savage must go, Leave Dodger to work in Su Bar. Also no idea why they have just hired a band to be actors in Hollyoaks also MAJOR CRINGE! The new producer really loves the teens. (dear god I'll Miss Gareth)

Luckily Jacqui becomes a good friend with Lynsey since she helped her in the rape case recently - can see them two working well together actually! :D

I would agree about getting rid of Gaz, Liberty and Jonno. I'd also add George the GAY, Cindy (sorry but she's well past her best and has crap hair), Amy, Theresa (they need to do this, she's several shades of dire), Ricky (he's nothing without Duncan) and Ethan (absolutely useless) to that list. On the whole they do have a good cast, even if it's very new (more than 50% of them joined in 2010/11), it's just about utilising them well. I definitely would not get rid of Will, he's fantastic and adorable and generally extremely lovely and buff, not to mention that he and I are engaged to be married.

 

Also have Lynsey in every single episode being lovely and dressing like a true fashionista.

 

They won't get rid of Amy. They already axed her last year and she was due to leave around the same time as Steph, Malachy and all but they kept her on because she's actually an extremely popular character.

I'm surprised the vile Ruby hasn't been mentioned... Tbh now that Steph has left, the Osbornes are just a bit.. useless aren't they? Even Tom hasn't been on screen in forever other than those two episodes with Mandy and Tony. Get rid of the Osbornes but keep Darren and Nancy. Esther can go too. GEORGE FOR THE BLOODY AXE. Finn just seems to be there for the sake of it too. They have so many characters that are just used as sidelines in someone else's plot but doesn't do anything useful.

Paul messed up the Steph storyline, the cancer storyline had so much potential but it was just horrendus, I wish Steph survived and left the show on a stephanie de la dean exit with her getting a big break in london or something. Frankie & Jack are also underused, I think we need a big storyline like Frankie getting breast cancer or something.. Tom really would be Damien, mad curse. I agree Hollyoaks have too many pointless characters and they're away to have more!

Now that I think about it, this is true. She is the ultimate 'character on the sidelines of someone else's plot and does nothing useful'. But still, I like her and she reminds me of my childhood as the Worst Witch :(

I like Ruby! She's absolutely horrific as a person but there's something about the actress, she's very watchable and I do like her relationship with Esther when she isn't belittling her. Esther works brilliantly with Darren too. And you can definitely count me in as part of the Hollyoaks 'crew'. It only takes one good episode for me to become addicted to a soap. Sad really!

Yeah I know what you mean, I have phases of only watching it if there's nothing else on to being utterly addicted to it like I am now. I don't want to miss an episode haha. I've never really gotten into any other soaps ... I guess because Hollyoaks is closer to my age range.
