This numbers are the best of this season for the singing french contest, n which its audience increase in 740 000 more than the las week. Star Acadmey was the show more followed for young people between 15-34 years old,getting around 34% of audience between them,32% from 15/24 and 30.5% from females more than 50 years. But Britney wasn`t only the queen of French TV,she also was the queen of Internet: more than 100 000 people followed the event online through the page of Star Academy and 50 000 more through the video zone of MSN. Star Academy was watched by more than 5 millions of French, bringing 700.000 more people, it's the record for the show this season. The X Factor hit a new audience high last night (Saturday) as the competition reached the quarter finals stage. The latest performances show, which featured the final five contestants taking on the songs of special guest Britney Spears, averaged a mammoth 11.88m (46.1%) between 7.35pm and 9.15pm. The audience is up significantly on the 9.42m (38.5%) who saw the equivalent episode in 2007. Last night's X Factor peak was 12.78m (49.2%) at 8.15pm. The later results show, in whichSpears performed her new single and Ruth Lorenzo was voted off, pulled in 10.69m and a remarkable 50% audience share.
