can anyone confirm how many copies the sugababes single girls has sold so far?

Island records really cocked up Girls , realising it on download on 20th September and not realising it on CD until 06 October if they would have realised it all in one week it would have probaly got to Number 1 , Its sold around 200,000, in the UK alone but is still in the UK Top 40 thanks to Boots.

 

Its a moderate sucsess in the UK.

It has been a success - didn't know it was near that much sold though! thought it was around 150k

It could've done better. It will probably be largely forgotten about in a few years, overshadowed by more classic songs -_-

'Girls' has just gone over 130k, it is FAR from reaching the 200K mark :blink:

It dropped like a brick after being released on physicals its not exactly done great especially for a lead single/sugababes single.

It would've made number one if both d/loads and physical were released at the same time :D :D :D :D :D :D

 

That's the funniest thing i have heard in AGES

sales as up to date as we have them are listed in the pinned thread in the sugababes forum (as most artists have in their forum). I suggest you look there for future updates. Perhaps a mod could close this thread in the mean time?

PS it's still top40 so sales will still rise
