I'll do my odds soon but I think it is definitely a two horse race between Kopecka & Botanikka.

I think it's a combination of the fact that you're prequalified, so people already have their favourites, plus it's very old-school BJSC (female singer-songwriter stuff) whereas the favourites this time are the electropop entries which is where popular music seems to be heading in 2009...

Mmmmm, it looks like if it flops (which would come as a surprise to me (pre Odds) because I think it is a beautiful atmospheric song with a very strong melodic hook), then I am going to have to send the best song I've heard all year next time (that keeps being deleted the minute it appears on youtube), as I listen to it near daily on MySpace, by a UK act who has only ever had 1 Top 20 hits despite releasing two albums.

 

Which I think could easily be the biggest & best thing this artist will ever do.

it doesn't strike me as the sort of song that could be hated :o it's fairly inoffensive really...I won't reveal exactly what I think of it but it's far better than some of the complete *** in the final
