December 4, 200816 yr Author I really don't think it is a good idea for them to cover a Bob Dylan track and nothings been mentioned about a new album.. But this song will have to feature on somewhere so I don't know. The live versions are on youtube atm if anyone is interested
December 4, 200816 yr He looks and talks very normal actually, I didn't expect that :heehee: He talks like an American teenager though, not a grown man  Looking forward to any new material from them ^_^
December 4, 200816 yr Wow! I'm away one week and I miss that :o I'm looking forward to listening to it, too. It's been a long time since "their last new song", so it'll be interesting to see how's this :D
December 5, 200816 yr Author If you watch the live versions of it.. One hopes they completely reconstruct if it is to have great success. Hopefuly they get some wonders done in the studio on this, so that we don't get disappointed.
December 7, 200816 yr Author I certainly hope a new album is on it's way. The track has just been playlisted on UK radios! :o and I haven't even heard it.. If somebody hears the radio edit or has a youtube/download link please post it here
December 8, 200816 yr I was just about to go to bed when I saw this! Great news :D I cant actually want the video because my house is asleep  and I cant reach my headphones, so I'll watch it tomorrow Good to see they're back though, about time too! :cheer:
December 9, 200816 yr Author Yep. According to some of the interviews they were recording the track whilst still on that hectically long tour. How guys can multitask to such an extent is really bizzare LOL
December 9, 200816 yr Yep. According to some of the interviews they were recording the track whilst still on that hectically long tour. How guys can multitask to such an extent is really bizzare LOL  that actually made me LOL :D
December 26, 200816 yr Author Well, I still haven't heard a single version just yet. Although so inlove with live versions atm. So still no leaks that I know of, with the release in a week? Anyways try here - http://musicremedy.com/m/My_Chemical_Roman..._Row-30564.html Gerard and the gang did a video for it aparantely and some videoshoot photos available here http://www.buzznet.com/tags/mychemicalroma...on/?id=65200821 :bounce: Some rumours are around about MCR releasing another Bob Dylan cover instead of this, seems very unlikely. Will keep y'all posted.
December 26, 200816 yr Author Has anyone seen the 80s film of Watchmen based on some comic. LOL, a revived film and MCR track to it guarantees success. Info on the oldie here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchmen
January 3, 200916 yr Author Update. The release has been called off, obviously. So they are probably wanting to use the best song to cover for soundtrack of Watchmen, which looks to be any Bob Dylan cover and not necessarily Desolation Row. Which is a good thing I suppose, rushing certainly won't produce a quality song and they do still have a bit of time.
January 12, 200916 yr Author MCR's release date of the Bob Dylan classic, Desolation Row confirmed! My Chemical Romance will release their cover of the Bob Dylan classic, Desolation Row on February 9th through Warner Bros. The song is taken from the soundtrack to the upcoming big screen adaption of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' cult comic book series The Watchmen. The track will be released as a digital and as a limited edition 12' vinyl. The 12'' will be limited to just 3000 copies and will be backed with an extract from the film's score. In related news, the full film soundtrack will be released in the UK on February 23rd while the film itself will follow on March 6th http://www2.kerrang.com/2009/01/my_chemica...release_bo.html :o
