It's true - infact it's weird how dominated the French market still is by French music (though there are some awesome French acts).

I think french music is my 2nd favourite after English. I think its cos I have MCM so I'm very used to it. Their downloads chart usually is quite different though

TBH I think they need to start including the downloads on the official chart... it's beginning to look really outdated and weird...

Especially cos hardly anything gets a physical release there anymore, so its just old songs

damnation :snif: heading for a flop is it!?! I did notice that it's been shoved back a week too (the download at least)...I'm still hoping for top 40 at the very least

AGNES - UK & EUROPE

 

For the second week in a row, Agnes single "Release Me" rotates on BBC Radio 1 in England. Last week the single also got added to the radio stations Capital FM and Galaxy. The video for "Release Me" is being played on The Box, MTV Dance and the Chart Show TV etc.

DJs also like Agnes. "Release Me" has for several weeks charted no 1 on "Music Week Upfront Club Chart", "Music Week Commercial Pop Chart", "Cool Cuts Chart" and "DMC Club Chart". Later this month Agnes will travel to London for her first PR visit in the UK.

 

And the Swedish success is not only spreading to England. She is climbing the radio, TV and club charts in Belgium, France, Italy, Holland, Poland, Denmark.

Recently she recorded a french version of "Release Me", a version called "Realisé Moi".

Realisé Moi makes no sense... or it definitely doesn't mean Release Me... I really want to hear that tho! I'm even more excited about that than her coming to the UK (hope she gets some TV that said!) :cheer:

Dunno. It's still with the wrong Agnes, but it comes up if you just search for Agnes (due to the popularity of the track I guess).
