Ruth will obviously get signed, but it'll be a long time before she releases material if Syco don't offer her a contract, as her contract has to finish with Syco first (which I think lasts for 9 months?!) before she can sign with another label. Is good that she'll be able to sign up another label (just like i'd have liked Diana and JLS to do), but it might be too long before she releases material. Just means she won't have X Factor to prop her up like the others, but I guess it's only really worked well for Rhydian and Leona this year. :lol:

I think it's 6 months, I guess her album will be done quickly, it doubt it'll be original material, most probably big 70/80's rock ballads/power ballads. I can imagine it now. :lol: Queen, Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Bonnie Tyler, Heart. :lol:

Doesn't the contract only last til March 31st? After that she's pretty much free to release if she wants to...

I think they have to wait until the Winner has released their album :unsure:

 

Actually Ray released before Leona so doubt it...

That's cool news about Ruth. Surprised they picked up Eoghan, I thought they had realised what a joke he was by now... Can you imagine his version of Hallelujah?

I'd say they picked up Eoghan because he obviously appeals to a large group of people if he won 6 shows. and Large groups = Large amounts of cash.

 

I can see him doing high school musical and year 3000 type of music in the future.

I really want Ruth to release an album! I love her too
