I hate this version, its bland and boring.... 2/10

JLS = Just Leave Shortly

04: JLS - Umbrella So the only act, to have been in the bottom 2, are next. Whoever decided to put the two Rihanna songs together needs shooting :lol: The start, is it Eoghan singing? Oh Dear the vocals are very off :o They're not in sync with each other! Oh no didn't work for them TBH! Eoghan's performance was better TBH! :o 4

I thought it was really good.

Liked the arrangement of the track, did some cool dance moves, and the vocals were pretty decent. I think in a way they're at an advantage to all the other acts because they have to harmonise as well, but while although it doesn't sound perfect, it's really not that bad.

After first performances:

01| Diana - Girlfriend

02| Alexandra - Don't Stop the Music

03| Eoghan - Year 3000

04| JLS - Umbrella

So far JLS are in the most trouble.

Alexandra - Don't Stop The Music - BBC's SCD & It Takes 2 judge Craig Revel Horwood in the Daily Mirror today described her as "a really good dancer and singer, but vocally she is dull dull dull." That performance matches his description to a T. 6/10

JLS - Umbrella - Either a brilliant or stupid song choice. But that performance made it fall most definitely in the former category. A brilliant arrangement, great dance moves, great vocal harmonies, the girls will have loved that. 9/10

Alex: Obviously wasnt as good as Listen last week but still she pulled it off very weel. 8.5/10

JLS: Dull dull dull, they honestly need to go now please. This performance was lifeless. 4/10

Alexandra: Wow! She really took control of that stage! It was an amazing performance, very energetic. I hope Alexandra wins now 10/10

JLS: I thought this was really good, I also really like the song so that helped, I didn't think a song like that would work for guys but It did. 8/10

My view on the first preformances

1st Alex- DSTM

massive gap

2nd Dianna- Girlfriend

3rd= EuoiahaenekfgokenOWEN Y3000

3rd= JLS- Brolly song

01 Alexandra - Don't Stop The Music

02 JLS - Umbrella

03 Diana - Girlfriend

04 Eoghan - Year 3000

Here are my standings for the first songs:

1. Alexandra

2. JLS

3. Diana

4. Eoghan

I really liked Diana's song but I think I liked JLS that little bit more on the first song.

With an hour to go here are:

Betfair.com Semi Final Elimination odds

JLS Evens fav

Diana Vickers 7/4

Eoghan Quigg 5/1

Alexandra Burke 16/1

Knowing the song selections, I think despite the odds, Diana is as near cert to go as you could wish for tonight, unless she rediscovers her confidence that has been on holiday since her illness (her voice returned last week but that was clearly not good enough without her confidence), as JLS' song choices are inspired this week compared to Diana's.

Betfair.com Elimination Odds after 1st song performance:

Diana 7/8 Fav

JLS 5/4

Eoghan 7/1

Alexandra Burke 15/1

Well the bookies match my opinion that Diana is on her moped heading for tonight's exit.

1. Alex - 8/10 - Not as good as usual, but the best still

2. JLS - 6/10 - It was ok but they didn't add ANYTHING to it, aren't they supposed to be a "Vocal Harmonising" group or something?

3. Diana - 6/10 - Very nearly back on form, no claw, no yodelling, but still not great

4. Egg - 5/10 - Better than normal, but he sounds so strained whenever he sings, and he is big headed, and i'm not talking about his mop

jls are by far the worst tonight and alexandra was by far the best,,i thought was shicked when the judges told jsl they were great
