I wonder if Ughan's voice has broken yet

Am I the only one who really hated Diana's performance of 'White Flag'? Like someone said, she relied on the backing singers far too much, she didn't convey the power or emotion of the song at all, her vocals were as flat as a pancake.

Eoghan - Does Your Mother Know - After his surprisingly good opening performance, he defaults back to his normal awfulness. But the Northern Irish, tweenage girls & mums and grans mutli-votes will see him safely through to the Final. 3/10

 

Diana - White Flag - Only one word describes that performance = Beautiful. A shame her earlier uniqueness has been largely coached out of her (As for Simon Cowell what he said about that performance compared to the first is the biggest load of bollocks he has said. But seeing as Simon Cowell rates David Bowie & Kate Bush as the most overrated Britisgh artists of all-time and the sublime Bjork as the worst recording artist he has ever had the misfortune to hear, then I think i'm right to attack his music taste). If that is Will Young, Gary Barlow, Trevor Horn, Liam Gallagher, Lemar, Richard Park & Paul McCartney's X-Factor favourite (all of them are vastly more qualified to judge how good a singer is than Simon Cowell or anyone posting on here tonight IMHO) farewell performance then she has gone out in style. 9/10

Alexandra - Not as good as Toni Braxton original but very good, I think her voice is affected by her illness though 8/10

Wow, great peformance, powerful vocals, gave me goosebumps listening to that, Alexandra rawks she sings beautiful ballads. 10/10 her best performance to date.

07: Alexandra burke - Unbreak My Heart Yes! This should suit her voice so well. It's a power ballad that needs the deep voice she has got. I'm actually quite disappointed I preferred "Listen" so much more! It just lacked something! She has a great voice, although it's one tone! ;) 9

Diana and Eoghan have no chance of going, both have a strong fanbase Eoghan (teenage girls and pre teen girls) and Diana (teenage males) to get them through no matter what and youngsters make up about 95% of voters

 

The source in the Guardian who leaked the first 4 results whre Eoghan topped the votes, revealed last night that Diana topped the week on her first week back (the sympathy vote, and last week Alexandra topped the vote, with Diana less than 0.5% away from the exit in 4th place last week. Eoghan topped the votes in week 5 & 7 and has never been outside the top 2.

Yeah I did think her voice wasn't as strong as usual! Still she did a very good job and still had the best performances tonight so far. ^_^

Why did Cheryl make those comments she sounds as if she knows Alexandra is leaving tonight.

Yeah the X Factor finalists did a gig at the Carphone Warehouse in midweek for competition winners and Alxandra had to only do 1 song because of laryngitis and the others did 3 each, I think her voice is a bit affected by her illness as she has a lot of power but just did not convey that today

JLS- improvement on the first one but didn't do anything for me 6/10

And to end on JLS are flat and toneless 3/10, I hope they go home tonight.

08: JLS - I'm Already There There's something wrong with them this week. They're not gelling together as well as they're used to! But once it kicked in they sounded good. 7

Alexandra - Unbreak My Heart - A solid performance, but I thought it would be better, as if she was saving her voice. Or maybe she was aware that last week she over sang Listen, but the judges did not pick up on it because Simon wants her to beat Eoghan to give him a credible winner of this year's FiX Factor © Daily Mirror. 8/10

 

JLS - I'm Already There - Oh dear, Louie what have you done? Back to default urban Westlife mode instead of the great opening performance. 5/10

JLS- what is with all the crying people? gah a boring ballad, which is what louise would have them releasing if they get a record deal after the compition.

 

I have no idea who is going to go out tonight, really everyone isnt safe, allthoguh i think EuoiahaenekfgokenOWEN will be unfortuantly. However the only person i want to be in the final is Alex, if she goes out i will be so glad i am actualy missing the final.

Alexandra: I love this song and Alexandra gave an amazing performance. She looked like a star. 10/10

 

JLS: I really liked this, I think it was better than thier first performance and possibly thier best performance so far. 8.5/10
