7 Digital mustn't have such a big influence on the official chart. Last week The Kixx was number 3 here but nowhere near the top 75 in the combined chart :o

7 Digital have very low sales seems, as you say.

Exactly it must be with Lily Allen at #5 yet nowhere in the Top 75.

isn't Lily Allen a pre-order though, so the sales won't count 'til release week?

Thought i'd resurrect this, in the spirit of Easter :) inspired by the new combined download thread, perhaps this can be added in?

Gaga ahead of Calvin as she is on many other sites (non-iTunes), Depeche mode wishing all downloaders liked them this much since even the strongest physical fanbase doesn't get you top10 anymore. a lot of the others not surprising though Tinchy at no1 is impressive and wtf with Cliff's Xmas effort at no17?! A new Chris Moyles campaign perhaps? (except Radio1 won't play Cliff )

Apparently there was a campaign to get Cliff's Xmas hit to be a hit at Easter, yes (not sure it had anything to do with Moyles though)

No - it was on Facebook. (The same sort of scenario that meant that Rik Astley appeared in the Christmas 08 chart.)

The only problem I can envisage is that 7digital’s chart doesn’t update in real-time like iTunes and Amazon.

Ah of course. Your methodology sounds quite detailed too. Is it just Amazon and iTunes you are using?

I'd expect it to be more than 1%, but i'm thinking 5-10% for singles maybe. Seems there's no real way to know at the moment - no one's telling!
