Posted December 11, 200816 yr http://images.digitalspy.co.uk/07/41/160x120_sugababe_group.jpg Sugababes have ruled out writing an autobiography because of numerous lineup changes. The group will not pen a book about their career because it would be too hard to incorporate former members Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena. "With the history of us, a book wouldn't necessarily be the best thing," Keisha Buchanan told the Daily Star. "I think a book should be very, very honest and I don't know the history of Girls Aloud. "I couldn't sit there and write a book knowing that I couldn't tell the full truth." Buchanan added that the girls would consider branching out into other areas that suit them better. "One thing we would like to do is a makeup range. And Heidi would be brilliant at doing a handbag range and Amelle is obsessed with watches," she said. Sugababes release new single 'No Can Do' on December 22.
December 12, 200816 yr Keisha really needs to stop with the " we wouldn't do [insert something girls aloud do/did] its not the sugababes way" shes killing sugababes for me
December 12, 200816 yr Well I'm guessing yeah since she's been responding to everything that has to do with Girls Aloud. she commented on their top tens, on how they're more famous, on how theyre bigger stars, how theyre sexier, and cheryl being on x factor... I wonder what Girls Aloud accomplishment Kiesha is gonna dismiss is not being the "sugababes brand"next. lol
December 12, 200816 yr If she is ASKED about them she will obviously answer. These quotes you read in these stories are either made-up or answers to questions they were asked... I don't understand the GA comment anyway...
December 12, 200816 yr Its pretty obvious that in every sugababes interview now, they get asked about GA. It must do their heads in.
December 12, 200816 yr it's prob the same with GA- they always get mentioned together lol Hmmm, very very rarely actually. GA get spice girls mentioned to them more than sugababes.
December 14, 200816 yr I havent read an interview with Girls Aloud in the past year where Suga's have been mentioned. It seems to be that people are picking up on Girls Aloud doing better than Suga's at the mo and are trying to rile the Suga's, but they should just ignore it or try and not mention them in the answer. Keisha, along with whoever said it above, is killing the Sugababes for me too. She seems to be way too dominant n terms of interviews, songs and performances. She needs to pipe down because as i have said previously, she is seeming a little bit bitter towards GA even though they 'send flowers' etc. It is true though, they could'nt write a book unless they got the other two involved which i hardly doubt they will (although you never know how desperate people are for money). It would probably just end up as a complete bitchfest which would be a good read but be bad for the Sugababes 'brand'. They could wait a couple more years and if the 3 of them are still there and they are still together as a band, then they could write a book from '06 onwards but that would be a little pointless too.

Exactly! Like the fact that you're the only founding member does not make you the lead. It'skind of ironic because the thing about the Sugababes is that a lead singer really wouldn't work for the group. So keisha pushing (or being pushed) as lead isn't really helping the group at all. Sugababes used to have this amazing spark for me. And somewhere in the last two year it's kind of disappeared. I really hope they can find it on their next album :(
December 15, 200816 yr Keisha is NOT 'pushed' as the lead. Everything in the Sugababes is and always has been fairly equal. Occasionally Heidi sings a little less than Amelle or Keisha, but she seems as happy as anything so there's no problem... stop trying to create one?
December 15, 200816 yr I think people see Keisha as the lead because she's the only original member there, and people have seen her a lot longer than Heidia and Ms Thang. From what I see in their videos though, they all seem to have equal singing parts. Ms Thang starts "Girls", Heidi does a bit and Keisha comes and does her thing. It's good.
December 15, 200816 yr Ms Thang is called Amelle. -_- She is a goddess in human form, please at least respect her by calling her by her name. No-one really calls Siobhan 'That Ginger Thing'
December 15, 200816 yr ^ Well if someone bothered telling me her name when I asked, we wouldn't be having this talk. Besides, I think "Ms Thang" is much more respectful than me saying "the other one" when reffering to her. But thank you for setting me straight, ma'. AMELLE, you say? Cool. Keisha, AMELLE and Heidi.
December 15, 200816 yr No, in most songs Keisha has the same amount of verse/verse's but then is always the one who ad-libs and usually ends the song off. Plus she co-wrote most of the songs on this album (whether or whether the others 'couldn'nt be bothered' and was the one who performed with JM on CIN. To me its looking like she's always the one at the forefront... even in the interviews
December 15, 200816 yr Well you're allowed an opinion but I can't agree at all :heehee: There's definitely no intentional effort there to be the one at the forefront. And bringing the JMo duet into it is like saying Cheryl is trying to be the 'lead' GA member because of the X Factor or the Will.I.Am duet. If you get offered work, you take it! James approached Keisha because he likes her, that's that...
December 16, 200816 yr Keisha only did broken strings because James WANTED HER. He like Keisha's voice and wished for her to join him. He didn't pop along to a SugaLunch and sit with the trio and go 'i want one of you for a CIN duet. Who's it gonna be' and Keisha going 'Me, i'm the lead, i've been here the longest' Beware was written without Keisha, as was No Can Do, Every Heart Broken, Unbreakable Heart, Nothings As Good As You. She had solo credits on half the album. hardly a disaster. The girls have said it only took less than 2months to do this album, Keisha quite evidently was the one with the least amount of things planned for the summer. After all, they were supposed to be on holiday when it was recorded/written
