December 29, 200816 yr Author From http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a139369/...t-comeback.html Robbie 'rules out' Take That comeback Sunday, December 28 2008, 14:30 GMT By Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter Robbie Williams has decided to concentrate on his solo career rather than rejoining Take That, according to a report today. The singer recently sparked rumours that a full reunion was on the cards by revealing that he would "love to be in the band again". Meanwhile, Gary Barlow has confirmed that he expects Williams to make a comeback to the group eventually. However, an insider told The People: "Robbie told his dad Pete that he'll be pushing himself back in the limelight - talk of a reunion couldn't be further from the truth. "He might have buried the hatchet with Gary Barlow but the only person Robbie is concerned about selling records next year is himself!" Williams has also been tipped to join X Factor's judging panel in recent weeks. ^_^
December 29, 200816 yr I hope he doesn't join Take That! They're better without him and he's miles miles better without them.
January 1, 200916 yr Robbie Williams To Use Take That For Solo Comeback Robbie Williams is planning to use Take That to resurrect his solo career, according to a new report. The Rock DJ hitmaker has reportedly recorded a pop album and plans to exploit the hype from the band's reunion to top the charts. According to Britain's News of The World newspaper, Robbie is considering a one-off performance with TT at their final tour gig at Wembley on July 5 - which will see him join Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason to sing Back For Good during a sensational final encore. Shortly after the tour, Robbie will release his first single in two years; with an album following in September. A source says, "He has rediscovered how to write earth shatteringly good pop anthems like Angels. "He knows this is his last chance to make it big again. "He needs the band to be successful again. "And for Robbie, success and being Number One again are the only things that will make him happy now. "After the last couple of albums didn’t do so well, Robbie was pretty nervous about the reaction to his new material. "He didn't want them going to the record company until he tried them on some trusted friends. Ant and Dec loved the songs. Robbie was pretty relieved." An insider at Williams' record company, EMI - who signed the star for $160m in 2002 - added, "Getting a new Robbie album out has become our priority. It will make him or break us." http://www.showbizspy.com/180499/robbie-wi...r-solo-comeback

As much as I dislike Robbie he DOES NOT need Take That and similarly they DO NOT need him! For heavens' sake. I was sceptical of them being friends now I do believe that it could actually be true ... but they both know they appeal to two different sets of fans. I do however, believe that both parties are laughing their socks off at all this media attention ... after all ... any publicity is good publicity. Norma Edited January 1, 200916 yr by Norma_Snockers
January 1, 200916 yr God all this $h!t again?!? Like I've said countless times, why do people bother believing in all this c**p? He is not going to rejoin Take That.

He was Britain's biggest star, now he must be worried he has become Robbie Nobody who used to be part of Britain's biggest boy band. He doesn't need the money to come back, but I bet he needs the attention to feed his ego. He must feel he can no longer take success for granted.

He doesn't need the money to come back, but I bet he needs the attention to feed his ego. He must feel he can no longer take success for granted. Maybe you should look at where the article that you posted was from ;) News Of The World don't report the news, they try to make up the news  A source says, "He has rediscovered how to write earth shatteringly good pop anthems like Angels. "He knows this is his last chance to make it big again. "He needs the band to be successful again. "And for Robbie, success and being Number One again are the only things that will make him happy now. So yeah he needs the band to be successful again, #1 in 17 countries is such a flop :( Mums everywhere had sneezing fits because he came back with something that wasn't a ballad so that meant he had lost it despite it being his most critically acclaimed album ever. I seriously believe the choice of first single was the ONLY thing that meant that album didn't sell as much the UK anyway. Sorry but the way the article is worded just makes me laugh especially the first sentence I quoted. If you seriously believe all this c**p that you read in The Sun and the NOTW then I don't know what to say really! It's funny how all these people were fans of him and now suddenly because The Sun said he was c**p now people with no brains follow them. Anyway with him being 'arrogant' OF COURSE HE'S BLOODY ARROGANT! His overconfidence is part of his persona that gives him the womanizing stage presence he has! This is all overhyped anyway and I'm pretty sure he could fart down a microphone and his next album will still be relatively successful worldwide and in the UK as per usual. Thinking about it I do agree with Norma, this is giving both acts media attention so shouldn't everyone be happy. :P
January 1, 200916 yr O No...!!!not this again on the first day of the New Year.... Robbie made HIS intentions very clear in his blog.....the first band to get together because of artistic differences.... Robbie & TT are like chalk & cheese with no longer very much in common apart from the fact they were once together in a band & it is hard to picture Robbie ever been part of the original TT.........TT themselves have even moved on from what they were 10 years ago & have grown up ... As a Robbie fan I am gonna focus this year on Robbie music & all to do with that & not what may happen in the future....& anyone who tries to shove that Robbie v TT s**t down my throat should maybe set up their own Robbie/TT website & wring their hands in either misery or glee over there.... <_< & to think I said I was gonna be positive for 2009...... :o & I am you know
January 1, 200916 yr Grr. The Rudebox album was the best thing he ever did! I want Rudebox p.2, looks like we won't get it though. :(
January 25, 200916 yr http://news.stv.tv/entertainment/71988-rob...ams-reunion-no/ Robbie Williams will not rejoin Take That. The 'Angels' singer - who is reportedly planning to move back to the UK from Los Angeles with girlfriend Ayda Field - insists he does not want to perform again with his former bandmates, despite reconciling their differences last summer. The 34-year-old star is said to have told friends that not only does he not want to rejoin the group, he is determined to outsell them with his forthcoming comeback solo album. He is quoted as saying: "There is no way I'll ever go back to Take That. "I've got plans which involve me and nobody else. I'm going to beat them in the charts - I'll sell more records than anybody else.  The 'Let Me Entertain You' star - who hasn't released a record since 2006's flop 'Rudebox' - has hired a personal trainer and taken up cycling and hiking in a bid to return to his slim physique before he releases new music. Robbie's former bandmates - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald - have previously said they believe Robbie will eventually rejoin them. Mark recently spoke of how much he would love to welcome his old friend back to the group. He said: "It would be brilliant if he came back some day. There's nothing missing without him in a musical sense, but still it would be so great. I think we'd all have Rob back tomorrow if he wanted it and the time felt right." However, Gary admitted he didn't expect a full Take That reunion in the foreseeable future - but would happily welcome Robbie back if he did decide to join them. He said: "Robbie will not be coming on tour with us because he has got his own things to do. But we are not ruling out getting together with him beyond that." Robbie left Take That in 1995, with the band splitting a few months later. The group reunited in 2005 but the 'No Regrets' star turned down the chance to take part in the reformation. ^_^
