December 11, 200816 yr Post of the week!   The god honest truth is that Robbie's Ego is 10 x that of the other 4 combined. He'd be pushing them all out of the way to get to the front of the stage. They'd be at each other's throats before the second song. Daft idea. -_- After been a solo artist what role would Robbie play in TT.... :o ...all those synchronised dance moves that TT & Boyzone seem to have to do drive me insane... :  & can you just see Robbie keeping up with them.... ...his levels of concentration are not great at the best of times...he would be in the agreed & practiced line up for 5 mins & then he would be off doing his own thing  Exciting & interesting times ahead then !!!!!! Wonder how Ayda feels about all this...she sure did not get herself a very predictable guy.... :P ...but a nice one all the same....
December 12, 200816 yr a one off - Friday 26th june 2009 - Old Trafford - that will do me nicely ;) That would suit me great .... I'm at Old Trafford on the Saturday! Norma While I'm here - please vote that you don't want Rob to go back to Take That! I know I can rely on your support! :) It is just the Sun so it doesn't make a difference either way! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...icle2029775.ece Edited December 12, 200816 yr by Norma_Snockers
December 12, 200816 yr I don't think it'll work on a permanent basis either. He has been a solo act for a while now and to get used to working with Take That again and having to share the decision making about the tour won't be easy for Robbie after his length of time being a solo performer.

Well Howard said this morning that if anything did happen it would be after their next tour. I'm assuming Rob will have his own album and a tour of his own too either at the same time as Take That or late 2009 early 2010 - then a break and then maybe something ... so if 'it' did happen (I mean even just a one-off) we're talking at least three years away! December 12, 200816 yr & with a bit of luck Robbie will have changed his mind by then.... :P ...can you just see Gary B taking orders from Jose..... Well us Take That fans wish they'd have closed the invite for him to join - I think they only did it because they fell for this 'poor little misunderstood mite' thing. Don't they realise ... the fact that they're more successful now than before means that he was surplus to requirements the first time round. Besides, although Rob seems to have this 'charisma' thing (which to me is just arrogance anyway) Gary has a far better voice than him ... always has had. Come to think of it ... Howard and Jason have better voices than Rob. I'm still having to think about Mark though! To be honest though ... although this talk of a 'reunion' of sorts does come from Rob this time ... surely none of you believe that he means it do you? I don't for a minute ... I think he's just 'being nice' for PR purposes. And as for the tattoo ... its probably for Talk Talk. Norma Edited December 12, 200816 yr by Norma_Snockers
December 12, 200816 yr Frankly, I am so sick and tired of this whole Rob/TT thing I could scream. Its been going on for far far too long now, that I actually just want them to get it out of the bloody way already. And the reason why the whole thing annoys me so much is how it is reported in such an unbelievably bias manner. How the media have portrayed Rob as a deserperate hasbeen who is virtually begging TT for forgivness and to 'let' him back (that is what it said in todays Mail). That I could almost ignore as the British media are globally known as the worst in the world when it comes to being bias. It is the fact that the public are so guilable and naive, and brainwashed by the media to such a shocking extent. The majority of the general public completelly and utterly buy the spin the media have put on the whole situation, that Rob is washed up and faded and needs TT to revive his career. It infuriates me how the public are never informed of the actual facts. The fact that Robbie is a GLOBAL superstar, who is the second biggest selling music act of this century globally. This is something that should be celebrated, instead he is made out to be faded etc, despite the fact that the last thing he did professionally was complete one of the most successful tours in the history of music. That was the last thing he did. He has done nothing for the past 2 years, so this whole myth (and that is all it is) that his career is ailing etc, is nothing more than the media's disgusting attempt to bring him down. They harp on about Rudebox flopping. I know I say it alot, but it reached #1 in 14 bloody countries and sold far, far more than TT's album worldwide (infact, to put it in perspective, Rob's Ego Has Landed album sold more in the US than BW sold internationally astonishingly). Ok so it didnt sell near what his previous albums have sold (especially in the UK) - big bloody deal. There are no big acts who have been around as long as Rob has and enjoyed is massive success that havnt had an album not do as well as the previous. It is an achievment in itself that it didnt happen sooner. Madge's latest album has sold half of what Rudebox did in the UK (and she is considered the biggest act in the world), the same goes for Kylie X, yet neither of these are called flops or desperate by the media. It is nothing more than a deliberate attempt to bring him down and it appears most of the public buy it all. That is what annoys me about the whole thing. Not that fact that they are trying to ignore his previous achievments but that they are fabricating the idea of his career being as good as over. The media have seemingly persuaded people that Rob needs TT to revive his career, when factually the whole idea makes no sence, for the simple reason that Rob is bloody massive all over the world (except North America), and can sell out any massive stadium he pleases in record time anywhere, whereas TT are only huge in the UK/Ireland. Two small Islands is this huge world. If Rob joined TT, they would benefit hugely professionally, as there would be a chance for them to be the biggest pop band in the world, a chance for them to make ten times more money etc. There is no advantange for Rob that i can see. It would just make him look desperate and give the media exactly what they want. I wish he had never written that blog. For years now TT have been the ones talking about it all the time when asked in interviews, while Rob has kept quiet. It was not a good idea to speak now imo, but that is Rob for you - he doesnt give a $h!t and good for him. I have been ignoring the whole thing for ages now, but todays papers really just pissed me off. It's a shame this has now overhadowed his announcment of a new album in the summer. We dont have long to wait now, and tbh I just want him to get the whole TT thing over and done with. A DVD with a special gig with an audience made up of people who are fans of both and want a one-off would be the best idea. Or a duet for charity. Whenever it happens I dont think it will be for a few years tbh, so more media c**p for ages more  And I am not slagging off TT,(unlike a huge amount of TT fans on the net who are slagging off Rob). I simply don't care enough to bother to slag them off. I don't have a problem with them. They are nice lads who deserve their success. It's and media that p*** me off here. The notion that all of TT are better singers than Rob is so hilarious imo, when you consider he was the only one who made it on his own. And not only made it on his own but became one of the most successful solo acts of all time. That was just because of charisma? So let's wait and see if Nicky from Westlife can conqer the music world one day, or Shane from Boyzone. Both cant exactly sing but they have charisma (compared to the others anyway). Would be very interesting, I think. It is also amusing how you say Gary has a far better voice as if your opinion is fact, yet you call Rob arrogant. I love it

December 12, 200816 yr Author I think there is an assumption in the media that fans of TT's music are fans of Robbie's music and vice versa. Like we are all some sort of happy clappy gang who love both acts. Maybe TT and Robbie think that as well. Sure there are the 'original' TT fans from the first time around, a lot of whom maybe did go on to become Robbie fans. But I'm guessing those people are in the minority these days. From what I can see, most of today's Robbie fans weren't ever TT fans. And most of the people buying TT's CDs and gig tickets this time round weren't the screaming teenyboppers of old. Robbie music is nothing like TT music. Would I buy a Take That CD? No. Would I buy a Take That CD if Robbie joined them? Not unless he was writing all their songs. I just want a new Robbie album. I'm not remotely interested in Take That. With or without Robbie. :(

December 13, 200816 yr Author http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/musicblog/...liams-take-that Robbie would be mad to go back to Take That Why on earth is Robbie considering going back to the Take That fold? And why would they want him back? Ever since he quit Take That, Robbie Williams has been exorcising the demons he wrestled with during his time in the band. So why would he want to go back? And why would Take That want him? Against all odds Take That have become the perfect model for a grown-up boy band. Nothing about them (from the mid tempo rushes of Patience to their M&S ads) is about drama. Robbie, on the other hand, is nothing but drama. You think he will happily take the mic, stage left to sing backing vocals? Of course not, and why should he? As their reunion documentary Take That - For The Record showed, Jason Orange and Howard Donald were in a post-fame cul-de-sac, willing the reunion to take place. Robbie, on the other hand, was becoming the biggest pop star in Europe and getting used to doing things his way. A team player no longer, he'd become a love-him-or-hate-him solo star whose residual anger towards the band fuelled his best (No Regrets) and most controversial (The 90s) solo songs. Even Simon Cowell doesn't think he should do it. He told Heat magazine "I think I would keep [Take That] as it is. He could do a guest slot now and again." Or maybe just an occasional appearance via hologram.

December 13, 200816 yr 8kmPz5IbU90 Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon A Christmas Song video MyCIj4J1PLM Geraldine McQueen NSPCC Christmas Message With the revelation that Robbie Williams sings on this Gary Barlow penned track (I'm presuming its got to be the falsetto "Over Again" bit towards the end of the song), do you think this will help or hinder its sales. Thanks TIP - got there eventually.
