December 21, 200816 yr I like Abi Branning! :o There are worse characters such as Minty, Garry and Billy.
December 21, 200816 yr At last! LOL. One of my problems with Abbi is that she acts about 7 quite a lot of the time and not the 11/12 she really is and like Shoat says she does tend to stick up for Max quite a bit. Loving the pictures by the way!
December 21, 200816 yr Author And due to how unpopular both him and Suzy are i cant see neither lasting long. Unpopular indeed... http://www.celebrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/heathermillsxv1.jpg 49. Suzy Branning (2.94) In fact, The 411's prediction may be coming true sooner than expected, I believe Suzy is actually going to be taking a break before the New Year as she gets caught trying to rip off the Mitchells. Like many, I was quite excited to hear Maggie O'Neill had joined up; her Sheila was my favourite in Shameless. So it was a crushing disappointment to see her playing such a hopelessly unlikeable character on EE. Her first few months were tediously repetitive. Suzy would totter in wearing an impossibly tight blouse, boobs thrust forward, screaming out "I'm a two-dimensional whore". Just in case the audience needed to be whacked over the head with this, her appearance would solely be for her to utter out the usual lame "suggestive" and "naughty" lines with an annoyingly smug smirk on her face. And then she'd just vanish in a shallow attempt at making the character seem "mysterious". This would continue on and on and on. It didn't help that her opening storyline was an utterly ridiculous load of tosh about some gold bar, like we were in a sub-standard Indiana Jones movie. There are also glaring inconsistencies in her character. Suzy Branning actually appeared in the soap over a decade ago (for the wedding of Carol and Alan Jackson), where she had two children. Where are they now? And Suzy's behaviour... One minute she's raging because her favourite brother is fighting for his life in hospital after being run down. And the very next scene she's back in the Vic with yet more desperate flirting, trying to get Phil Mitchell into bed. Erm....yeah. It's a shame, because her various spats with Shirley and Peggy have shown that Suzy has the potential to be a top class b**ch. But ultimately, with the superior Janine Butcher now back to cover the gold-digging cow patch, is Suzy really needed anymore? Edited December 21, 200816 yr by Shoat
December 21, 200816 yr Shoat- Suzy is leaving. Wasn't the actress axed a few months ago? Her last episode is Boxing Day.. I do like Suzy. She's a character that you love to hate, no? Anyways, Janine is back now so she isn't really needed...
December 21, 200816 yr Author Shoat- Suzy is leaving. Wasn't the actress axed a few months ago? Her last episode is Boxing Day.. I do like Suzy. She's a character that you love to hate, no? Anyways, Janine is back now so she isn't really needed... Yes, but characters you love to hate only work if they are shown to be regularly receiving their comeuppance, like Ian Beale's various humiliations. I didn't realise she'd been axed. I'd heard she'd just taken a break as the actress had signed up for some panto, as with Bobby Davro?
December 21, 200816 yr Suzy truely is the biggest waste of space there is on the show. I was actually rather exited to hear Maggie was joining the show but the character is dreadful. And what is it with all the whispering..
December 22, 200816 yr There are also glaring inconsistencies in her character. She actually mentioned that she had grown up children the other day but I agree with the rest of the inconsistencies. She hasn't been handled very well first she's stolen a bar of gold that she has to sell, then her chihuahua gets kidnapped by an ex. The build up to Christmas with her should be good though.
December 22, 200816 yr i like suzy she has grown alot on me and i think the charactor could be taking in so many different direction,i love maggie who plays her and its a shame she is leaving i also adored he in shameless
December 22, 200816 yr I quite like Suzie, I love her reaction to seeing the kangaroo :P I am quite interested to see how high Tracey and Winston get :P
December 27, 200816 yr I like Suzy! Abi though, she needs a slap. "OMG, MARGE HAS PISSED HERSELF, WHAT SHALL I DO?" *goes into corner and cries*.
December 28, 200816 yr No suprises so far, I hate Archie, Abi and Ben. Altough I really love Suzys character she is hilarious!
December 28, 200816 yr Oh DAR! Fail buzzjack, epic fail! As IF Suzi is that low! Girl is utterly fabulous. Weaksperm-gate remains the thing of legend! BOO at Bobby Davro though, what did he say about Linda Henry?

BOO at Bobby Davro though, what did he say about Linda Henry? When this character rate thing was done, I didnt like Suzie. But, by now, I absolutely love her. And, I'm with you on Weaksperm-gate!
December 28, 200816 yr Suzie is bloody epic? Possibly the best character on EE in recent times. She just made me roflol all the time with the slow, emotionless ways in which she said things. She's like a vessel of dark matter, robotic. Brilliance. Nearly everything she said made me laugh. Her scenes with Ben were LOLOL.
December 28, 200816 yr Author I have to agree, I've had to have a complete U-turn. Suzy SPARKLED this last week, and frankly anyone who puts down Ben Mitchell the way she did should be kept in Eastenders FOREVER. If she's still around, it will be interesting to see how she fares in the next year's rate. I suspect she would be a high riser.
December 30, 200816 yr If the character rate were still going then their should be someone below Ben IMO, "Dotty" is terrible, makes me cringe every time I watch her.
December 30, 200816 yr Author If the character rate were still going then their should be someone below Ben IMO, "Dotty" is terrible, makes me cringe every time I watch her. Whilst Dotty is completely p***-POOR, I don't know if anybody deserves to be below Ben. But hey, there's always next year. http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/pic/ADVG/681~Dopey-Posters.jpg 48. Callum Monks (3.24) DREADFUL. EE has always had a weakness for bland "pretty" boys, and it's showing no sign of change. We'd only just got rid of bloody Deano, and then they lump us with this. I just do not see the point of this character at all. For a start, Vinnie Monks was NEVER popular enough to justify a family member, let alone one so simpering, arrogant, thick, dull, wooden and generally twattish. One of the big low points of EE this year was the way Bradley and Stacey's final break-up was handled. The story just made no sense. After EVERYTHING that couple had been through, they had still stuck together. They survived abortions, mad mothers, golddiggers, schizoprenic brothers, Dot's tea parties, affairs with family members and Christmas day brawls. But yes, all it really took was for a cocky little t*** to strut up, say "Yeah, I'll have ya", and within minutes Stacey had gone running. Ri-ight. COME ON EE. And so with an embarrassment of an opening storyline, and an embarrassment of a family member, Callum Monks really did start off on the wrong foot. And nothing he's done since has really changed that either unfortunately. One for the axe please EE.
December 30, 200816 yr Spot on. Callum is hideous, even if I was a *tiny* bit turned-on when he stripped-off. BUT STILL.
