June 12, 201015 yr Was it really the plot that made Mean Girls the MUST WATCH DURING YOUR TEENS movie or was it the dialogue? I'm inclined towards the latter, so I think it CAN be saved if Tina is writing it.
June 12, 201015 yr Pfft. What a way to ruin a fantastic movie with hideous 'straight to DVD' sequels or a followup with a group of Z-listers that totally destroy what made the original so fantastic. See 'The Lost Boys' and 'Cruel Intentions' for similar rapeage -_- 'Mean Girls' is a classic and I just feel like it should be one of those films that is left alone. June 15, 201015 yr There really is no need for a sequel, the first one wasn't completely original or groundbreaking but it was one of those one-off moments when everything comes together to create a really fantastic film. The chances of that happening again with a teen movie are extremely slim. Leave it alone!
