May 12, 200916 yr Not a very good one though :heehee: Anyway, we will see if Jade makes the top 75 today... 77 I think :( If anything, I think it'll climb this week, especially Saturday.
May 12, 200916 yr Where did youo find 77? Or is that just a guess? I am sure she will be top 75 (probably top 40) by the end of the week :)
May 12, 200916 yr http://www.theofficialcharts.com/top40_singles.php She's nowhere there :( It is a good source btw, isn't it?
May 12, 200916 yr It says 77 on Jade's wikipedia page. Not the most reliable source, but I haven't been able to find her in the top 75 in any usual reliable places, so maybe it's true...
January 31, 201114 yr Author Without even hearing the song yet I have a feeling Blue could be our biggest selling ESC single of the 00s! I'm sure at least they will have no problem beating the peak Josh managed last year!
January 31, 201114 yr Scooch and Daz both sold about 50k in total I think, so that's the target I guess. They'll at least want an 100k selling single on their comeback I'm guessing...
March 21, 201114 yr Author Looking forward to 'I Can' having an impact on the charts although with the promotion and press exposure they should be releasing it now!
March 21, 201114 yr True, apparently it's not officially out until May, bet you a fiver it's album only when the compilation comes out on iTunes :(
March 21, 201114 yr Author True, apparently it's not officially out until May, bet you a fiver it's album only when the compilation comes out on iTunes :( Big mistake IMO - It could have been building nicely with all the exposure [Graham Norton/Red Nose Day/Documentary etc,] and they like Jedward would have got a decent sized hit out of it regardless of the result.
May 8, 201114 yr Author Pleased with the #16 entry for Blue and certainly an improvement on last years ESC chart peak! Have no doubt this will go Top 10 after Eurovision regardless of the outcome.
June 16, 201114 yr Author Another shocking chart run for the UK entry 16-26-22-80 - I really thought that Blue were gonna stick around for a while and go Top 10.
June 16, 201114 yr I guess not going top ten in the contest hurt them...still 3 weeks in the top 40 for our entry is better than most have managed recently
June 16, 201114 yr Author I guess so - I'm sure Josh would have sold his Gran for a chartrun like Blue's
March 19, 201213 yr Not expecting Englebert to light up the charts this time. And I completely forgot about Lindsay Dracass, she was doing quite well until the end when her voice started breaking on some of the bigger notes
May 13, 201213 yr Author Updated with Engelbert's opening week at #64  He now joins Patricia Bredin [1957], Ronnie Carroll [1962], Matt Monroe [1964], Black Lace [1979], Prima Donna [1980], Vikki Watson [1985], Ryder [1986], Rikki [1987], Scott Fitzgerald [1988], Live Report [1989], Andy Abraham [2008] & Josh Dubovie [2011] in failing to reach the Top 40 unless he suprises us all by either getting a huge uplift after the contest or of course winning!
May 13, 201213 yr Author Just noticed the Eurovision compilation is a new entry at #9 this week :o The album seems to get bigger each year and usually debuts lower before surging after the contest
