May 20, 200916 yr Author So aside from the UK winning entry from Katrina & The Waves which peaked at #3, Alexander Rybak's 'Fairytale' will become the first non-UK winning Eurovision entry to make the Top 10 since Johnny Logan 22 years ago in 1987! :o
May 20, 200916 yr Maybe - although having been taken off iTunes, there might be problems, but it's back on now...
May 20, 200916 yr I didn't know that the winning song used to be released physically in the UK every year.
May 22, 200916 yr between 1967 and 2009, 1986 is the only year that any Eurovision song hasnt made the UK top 75
May 24, 200916 yr Author Post updated - Alexander becomes the 14th Eurovision winner to make the Top 10 in the UK!
May 24, 200916 yr Author OMG such an interesting CR for Tu Te Reconnatrais :o  This is my favourite chart 'run' :kink: 1988 SWITZERLAND Céline Dion - Ne partez pas sans moi (137 Points - Host City: Dublin) UK Chart Run: Didn't Chart I bet nobody thought then that she would go onto be an international multi million selling artist!
May 25, 200916 yr It also didn't help that she didn't record it in English... though she did in German, and confusingly it was called Hand In Hand... Her first English song, Where Does My Heart Beat Now, was performed as the opening act of Eurovision 1989 but didn't chart in the UK until 1993, and then at #72 :kink:
