2008 FactsSugababes 15th single on my chart "Girls" was the first of theirs to not reach the top 2.Gave Girls Aloud their first number #01 since 2004.Was the second time ever a song returned to number 1 after falling.The lowest talling year for long running number #01 none lasted any further than 6 weeks on the top.Chris Brown has been the most successful male artist for me this year.The Saturdays & Alphabeat have been the most successful new artists.Chris Brown's With You & Jordin Sparks No Air have been the longest running singles this year each lasting 23 weeks.Kelly Rowland has had the longest number 1 run scoring six weeks on top.Kelly Rowland has spent a total of 8 weeks at number one throughout the year.Dido had the biggest flop comeback.

* Highlights *

Album track "Shine" needed to have been released 2nd or at least 3rd in an attempt to save the album, but yeh I really like this album, album track songs which make it good for me are "In The Rain" & "So Much Out The Way". Not sure whether its as good as her debut album I think that album was a lot stronger but was really good to get another album from Estelle who I hope will continue her success. ^_^

*Highlights*

Such a summery great album, songs like Pocketful of Sunshine were just screaming for a UK release. Other great songs from it for me were Angel & Put Your Arms Around Me, both of them I reckon would have done really well if released in the UK.

*Highlights*

Great way to start off a solo-career I think, really glad it was a success as well as I was pretty sure it would just go low top 10 then drop fastly. Only mistake with the album was releasing "Stop I Don't Love You Anymore" second when "It Was You" clearly should have been the second single. Best album tracks for me are "I Wonder", "Don't Keep Me Waiting", "Where Did It Go Wrong" & "You Let Me Down".

*Highlights*

I didn't expect this album to be as good as it is tbh, I was expecting it to be the one that does really well when the last album deserved much more although this album does deserve to do really well, its so good :wub: My favourite tracks are Untouchable, Love Is Pain & Miss You Bow Wow. Really glad Loving Kind is being released second as well as Rolling Back The Rivers is leagues below it.

This is definately one of 2008's best acts ^_^ manufactured or not, with this group I don't really care as the music is really good I think. My favourite album tracks include Chasing Lights, Work, Lies & Fall. I hope Issues can bring the album back into the top 40 in the new year :wub:

It's not a patch on Change, Taller or Three but it's still good I think and doesn't deserve to flop so badly. The best songs on there for me are Unbreakable Heart, Sunday Rain, Nothings As Good As You, Sound Of Goodbye & Can We Call A Truce :wub: all amazing songs. Just released the wrong songs from it, silly bints.

No idea how this group have been dropped, they are one of the best bands if not the best to come out of 2008. Tracks like Boyfriend & 10,000 Nights deserved to be number 1's :wub: amazing, the album as a whole is also really good. I thought the release of "What Is Happening" was the right one as well tbh shame it flopped, Go Go would have been good I guess as that is also amazing :wub: Anders :heart: (the singer anders btw :lol:)

*Highlights*

Lots of people thought this album was a reet' disappointment but I loved it :o I remember walking home from college listening to it one day and discovering "I'll Be Lovin' You Long Time" and was amazed and obsessed but I kinda killed it with it's release. Bye Bye was a huge mistake to release, as was Touch My Body tbh but I liked it quite a lot ^_^ Side Effects is now the most amazing album track will go down as one of the best album tracks ever to have not been released for me :wub: I Stay In Love, Migrate, Cruise Control, Thanks 4 Nothing and For The Record all deserve mentions as well :wub:

What a great summery song I think, it really deserved so much more than it's #41 peak. Kat DeLuna deserves far more success than shes got as well with an absolutely amazing album :wub: I was hoping it would at least take off in the UK.

What an amazing underlooked comeback single, it really deserved World-Wide success but instead seemed to got ball all which is gutting considering how good it is. Hopefully the rest of the album can recieve some success.

Excellent comeback single :wub: I like it alot, I don't want you tonight :wub: definately one of the best songs from 2008, Sober hardly lives up to it.

If she released this as soon as it leaked it would have had a much longer run at the top but since its been hammered to death since, it did suffer a shorter run than it deserved for me. Still an amazing song though ^_^

Was absolutely pleased for Estelle, I never thought she'd get a huge hit ever. Especially if you were to ask if anyone would think she would in 2004 you'd be like no way shes not that good :lol: but this did great and was a great fresh record bit overplayed but oh well, shame the rest of her singles haven't done as well.

What an amazing song :wub: the origional is just terrible but the Freemasons remix is amazing :heart: was tempted to swap this with the winner as the winning song does seem a bit 2007 to me.

If I hadn't have charted this 2 week earlier than I should have then it would have finished at #02 I've just realised :lol: all in all though this song is amazing imo, can relate to it loads was stuck in my head on repeat for the first half of 2007. Got back into it later in 2007 when it came on in a club down Manchester and the life was brought back :wub: returned to #01 for me after seeing them perform it live :heart:

Such a summery great album, songs like Pocketful of Sunshine were just screaming for a UK release. Other great songs from it for me were Angel & Put Your Arms Around Me, both of them I reckon would have done really well if released in the UK.

*Highlights*

Great way to start off a solo-career I think, really glad it was a success as well as I was pretty sure it would just go low top 10 then drop fastly. Only mistake with the album was releasing "Stop I Don't Love You Anymore" second when "It Was You" clearly should have been the second single. Best album tracks for me are "I Wonder", "Don't Keep Me Waiting", "Where Did It Go Wrong" & "You Let Me Down".

*Highlights*

I didn't expect this album to be as good as it is tbh, I was expecting it to be the one that does really well when the last album deserved much more although this album does deserve to do really well, its so good :wub: My favourite tracks are Untouchable, Love Is Pain & Miss You Bow Wow. Really glad Loving Kind is being released second as well as Rolling Back The Rivers is leagues below it.
Gave Girls Aloud their first number #01 since 2004.

Was the second time ever a song returned to number 1 after falling.
