Posted December 19, 200816 yr sooo.... they have finally caught the murderous bstrd, who has committed a seriese of violent crimes against women (and one 4 year old girl). trapped by advances in DNA (:P) technology as opposed to 'good old fashioned bobbying' its great to see this technology working. but what about colin stagg? the bloke the police triied to pin the crim on?... apparently scotland yard have rejected calls for a public enquirey... WHY? because they will be exposed as criminals themselves, its clear that corruption played a part here, the met trying to 'fit up' an innocent man in order to improve crime statistics. just as well there wasnt the death penalty, an innocent man would now be dead.
December 19, 200816 yr Stagg was clearly an unsavoury character, if I remember rightly ( I didn't see the program last night) at the time he admitted he exposed himself to women that day on the common and was also convicted of gross indecency because he was spotted having a w*** in the woods so I can understand given that he was up to no good on the common that day that he would be under suspicion but like Barry George it just seems like the cops wanted to fit up the local oddball in order to close the books on the crime

Hardly surprising.... The Filth would then have to admit on the record that they DID send in some poor WPC as bait to lure him into a "honey trap".... This is exactly what I've been saying all along about the Metropolitan Police, how they act like they're above the law, and it's gonna continue to happen again and again until we say "enough" and call them into account for their actions.... Yeah, Stagg was a bit of a perv, possibly even a bit mentally disturbed (like Barry George), but a hand-shandy in the woods and a bit of flashing is a far cry from multiple stabbing.....

He wouldn't be dead because he was never convicted. The judge - quite rightly - threw the case out because of the way the "evidence" against him was gathered. One of the most shocking things about last night's programme was hearing one of the officers saying that Stagg clearly had something to hide. Yes he did but it was clear that it was something he found embarrassing. The police officer on the other hand decided that he was hiding the fact that he was a murderer. A more extreme example of jumping to the wrong conclusion would be hard to find. So, Stagg has received an apology from the Met - at last. But what about the press? The tabloids regularly printed stories which went as close as they dared to stating that Stagg was guilty. One of them had a story with the headline along the lines of "Rachel killer free to kill again". Even those of us who always thought Stagg was innocent can't argue with that. Tragically, subsequent events have even shown that the prediction was true. BUT what made the story so reprehensible was the fact that it was accompanied by a large picture of Colin Stagg. Even the thickest reader pf that paper would have been able to work out what they were trying to suggest.

Yes, but that Arsenal supporting t*** with one of the most punchable faces in UK history could not give a monkeys as he passes judgement on America's Got Talent & Britain's Got Talent. One thing I'll always give credit to Jeremy Clarkson & Ian Hislop is they've both had physical altercations with this smug vile excuse of a human being (no wonder Simon Cowell gets on so well with this human slug). So Have I Got News For You could be interesting tonight.
December 19, 200816 yr Yeah Piers Morgan is a despicable creature, his actions too with those fake pics of soldier torture could have done untold damage to the military not to mention incited suicide bombers to attack the British mainland, Morgan is as big a cancer on our media over the years as Kelvin McKenzie Edited December 19, 200816 yr by B.A Baracus

I still wouldn't have a drink with him even if he was paying. He's not the full shilling and I'm rather particular whom I drink with.
December 20, 200816 yr I still wouldn't have a drink with him even if he was paying. He's not the full shilling and I'm rather particular whom I drink with. Who's said anything about having a drink with the guy... You dont have to like him to believe him innocent of the crime.... And, no offence mate, but I doubt I'd particularly want to have a drink with you..... :P
December 20, 200816 yr Yeah Piers Morgan is a despicable creature, his actions too with those fake pics of soldier torture could have done untold damage to the military Yeah, because of course the military are totally innocent of that sort of thing aren't they....? I mean, they were sooooooooooo humane towards the prisoners in Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo innit.....? And so fukkin' what if that's American soldiers, we're guilty by association with these c/unts, B-Liar was nothing like strong enough in his condemnation of the abuses of human rights going on in either case, if he'd been a strong enough leader with any guts, he'd've pulled our boys out of Iraq and Afghanistan on the back of that and just left these assholes to get on with it..... ...And, well, I would say that the illegal invasion of Iraq, our continued occupation and the murder of over 30,000 Iraqi civilians is probably incitement enough for suicide bombers..... As much as I despise Piers Morgan, it was kinda funny that he was the one targeted by whoever it was who faked these photographs.. Couldn't have had anything to do with the fact that he was the one tabloid editor who did have the balls to say that the war was wrong and was very critical of US and UK foreign policy.. Obviously he should have checked the authenticity of the photos (that would be the part where he's a prize prat, I seriously doubt that the editors of The Guardian and Independent would've been tricked by these photos....), but it does seem to me that he was deliberately targeted to undermine his paper's strong anti-war stance....

My opinions on the Iraq war are well documented, I even had a rant about it in the thread in the Lounge yesterday about that mad preacher guy and his family who protest at military funerals etc but we had nothing to do with Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo, if say your best mate went and shot a load of people in a pub does that mate you a murderer by association because you are his mate ? it don't in my book likewise my point with what Morgan did, as a journo he should have checked his facts but instead he made vile accusations against soldiers that could not be backed up with evidence

Well, put it this way mate, if a friend of mine (or even a family member) did something like that, or rape, or child abuse, they wouldn't be my friend anymore, simple as, I'd TOTALLY blank them and want nothing more to do with them, I certainly would not "ally" myself with a murderer or rapist or child abuser... B-Liar kept his "friendship" with the US and Bush despite the despicable lies and abuses of Human Rights, so to me that IS guilt by association.... It's your actions after the fact that are the important ones mate.... And, frankly, it's a totally simple-minded comparison anyway.....
December 20, 200816 yr B-Liar kept his "friendship" with the US and Bush Thats easy to do with a mate but not so easy with your biggest trading partner and overseas investor, some 3m people in this country are employed by American owned companies or companies that rely on business from America, we can't just cut America adrift mate it would be economic armageddon
December 21, 200816 yr Thats easy to do with a mate but not so easy with your biggest trading partner and overseas investor, some 3m people in this country are employed by American owned companies or companies that rely on business from America, we can't just cut America adrift mate it would be economic armageddon Well, I seem to remember Jacques Chirac and Gerhard Shroeder showing a bit more guts and refusing to commit troops to either Iraq or Afghanistan..... Both were considerably more critical of the Bush regime than B-Liar was..... I believe that the American-owned companies in France and Germany didn't up sticks and leave just because of that...... In fact, remember the Lehman's bank thing...? Just before it went bust, there was a report of hundreds of millions of pounds actually being siphoned off from its London branch back to the US just before their UK employees all got sacked on the Monday morning.....
