Right just had this idea, basically there is a massive catelouge of Libertines songs if you count the large amount of unreleased songs on bootlegs and such.

In this thread i shall be delving into the lesser known Libertines tracks, so check back every day for a new track, you could find your new favourite song :)

Day One

The Libertines - "The Libertines Do The Coral"

http://www.imeem.com/zapacalalla/music/83a...s_do_the_coral/

here the track on the link above.

I heard this track for the first time in about 2005 on last.fm radio, although last.fm dont seem to have it anymore. The track is from the 'Babyshambles sessions' done by The Libertines (sounds confusing yes, but it is The Libertines playing a session under the name babyshambles, it was before babyshambles had started). It is practically our fab four doing a medly of Coral songs, it has a rough recording sound but how they mix the tracks together sounds genius, the best part about the track is thats it sounds so natural, so Pete 'n' Carl.

check back tomorrow for another amazing travk.

Day Two

Smashing

This track is from the rare 77 demo's, i came across it about a year or 2 ago, i think it feel's rather special, a bit more than the ordinary Libertines song.

:o Hadn't heard Smashing before, but it's great.

I'll have to find a download somewhere!

That must be so annoying!

I've lost music before by computers f***ing up, but luckily most of them were ones I had on cd anyway, not the rarities!

 Yeah I know it's great isn't it?!

Just got my laptop about 2 weeks ago and it's great. Had to use my parents' laptops for a while because our main computer died and there kept being messages saying there was no space left because my music was taking it all up!

yeah the only problem is that i dont want to fill mine up to much with music so it doesnt overflow, so im getting a 500 GB external hardrive for christmas for all my music.

I already have like 10 GB worth of music on here though (2GB being NIN )

 You must have loads of NIN songs!

I've got about 35GB of music on my laptop, but I haven't got one artist with loads of songs.

The most is Bloc Party with about 100 songs I think, don't know what that would be in GB though, (probably less than 1?)

I have 332 NIN songs and 111[702 MB] Bloc Party (and loads more obviously)

I have a 500gb Hard Drive, only filled up about 33gb so far though.

And a 100 Bloc Party songs?! I thought I had them all but I only have 68 (including all albums/b-sides/a few remixes). :o

my bloc party is all albums, every single b-side, couple of remixes and mash-up's and live at reading 2007 and 2008 (when i saw them )

Yeah didn't you see the White Riot cover in Pete's flat video? :o Carl and Pete were doing a free gig there and someone came down to complain and then they started to play White Riot, it was hilarious

Day Three

Don't Look Back Into The Sun (Pete acoustic)

This from pete's untitled acoustic album he put on the net a few years ago, i think DLBITS work's really well acoustically, and this feel's very personal because of pete's little mouth trumpet solo, what a legend.

obviously his album next year would exceed this as it will be properly produced. such a tune though.

no fix today and tomorrow for obvious reasons.
