Posted December 22, 200816 yr Girls Aloud not keen on US label offers Saturday, December 20 2008, 10:37 EST By Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter Rex Features Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has revealed that the group are reluctant to try for success in the US. The singer confirmed that the girls may decide to concentrate solely on the UK music market because they regard promotion in the States as too much hassle. "Labels want to sign us," Coyle told RWD magazine. "But we're asking ourselves whether we really want to start off from scratch doing all the c**p to work our way up again or are we happy at the level we're at now - where we have a safe haven in the States where no-one knows who we are or what we're doing?" The band reportedly signed a new three-album deal earlier this month. Previous reports had stated that the singers were at war over Coyle's lack of commitment to the group.
December 22, 200816 yr It would be great if they made it huge in america but i think they should concentarte on the market they have they are bigger now than they ever were and thats there strength so they should keep iy strong
December 22, 200816 yr I really think they should give it a go with this era you know, they should try with Australia again IMO.
December 22, 200816 yr they would have a better chnace of suiccess in aussie and i think the promise could do very well there
December 22, 200816 yr Why take it with a pinch of salt? Its actually a quote from Nadine directly stating that they have had offers. Yeah i think they should leave it and stick here with us!
December 22, 200816 yr the girls definitely have a chance in the US, at the moment there are only the PCD and they have what ....another SINGLE before they split? Furthermore there is somewhat of a fascination with the British females atm
December 22, 200816 yr If anything they should just try to see if they can do it. Regardless of how they do in America or any other markets they've already established themselves as a major act in britain... It wouldnt do mych damage to just try it out and see what happens.
December 23, 200816 yr Is Cheryl known over there? For what exactly? I thought only Nadine was... And Coolnav, you never seem to get that quotes can be made-up. There's no source here... I agree with Feel The Fever. By far their best bet is to try Australia again. They'd embrace their variety of pop, they could be big. And I read they'll be releasing in Europe next year with a big advert in Germany using one of their songs...
December 23, 200816 yr The source is RWD magazine. Quotes cannot be made up, they need to come from something and Nadine has obviously said she is not too keen on the US offers her band have recieved.
December 25, 200816 yr I think they should try to have sucess in Europe first. I think they could do well in Germany, Sweden and some other countries. I actually thought Can't Speak French was going to be a big hit in France  It would be very hard for them to crack the US if they have a UK single in January, UK tour next year and Cheryl doing another series of the X Factor (and recording another album?).
December 26, 200816 yr I know, it's a miracle they manage to fit everything in as it is, but it woudnt suprise me if Cheryl didnt return to the X Factor tbh. If they do try to crack America, which i hope they try too, they wave goodbye to new album next years i imagine
December 26, 200816 yr none of them are known here (at keast not to a mainstream extent) although Cheryl Cole made no.18 in AskMen's Hottest 99 women....:) i voted hahahha they have nothing to lose in releasing singles here
