No Mercy - Where did you go, and please don't go. No wonder they had no more as they both sounded the same.

No Mercy had 3 hits:

Where Do You Go #2

Please Don't Go #4

Kiss You All Over #16

Depends really if you count Save The Lies peak of #33 a hit ;)

Actually I read somewhere that songs peaked in the top 40 are classed as hits. So yes I count it although it was a flop for her.

Alannah Myles

Black Velvet #2

Love Is #61

:o Love Is was that low? :( I always preferred that to Black Velvet.

You could say the same about Westlife & McFly

On Wikipedia look under the heading Chart Hits for the correct answer

In other words a hit is a single that enters the official chart for a minumum of one week.

In the UK that means The Top 50 until May 1978 then The Top 75 until 2007 and then the top 100.

It's just the stupid BBC who shortens the chart to 40.

In the US it is the Billboard Hot 100

Puretone - Addicted to Bass (#2)

Puretone - Stuck In A Groove (low top 30)

am I the only one who FAR preferred Stuck In A Groove, such a shame that it flopped, it had a great melody and an excellent video, in my top 5 songs of 2003

is estelle one? I cant for the life of me think of any song other then american boy by her but she must have at least one other big hit.

Kind of, she's more of a minor artist who had a fluke hit though, she's featured on a few top 75 'hits' over the years.

Diamands For Her (?)

Diamonds For Her, sadly, flopped in the UK. Pity cos it was a great song. Hard Stuff was a hit in Europe too. Actually their album was pretty nice in a Jamiroquai meets Daft Punk kinda way.
