January 10, 200916 yr OMG I cant listent to what some people said...NOONE could reach Leona's debut success
January 10, 200916 yr i forgot robbie.. i think he will be big again, provided their is an 'angels' on there! i dont think eminem will be all that big. its interesting to see the whole alex thing, i think shes ace, but no leona, so i kinda dont want her to out-do leona. i think she will be successful, but on a lower level to leona. id actually predict her 2nd album to sell more in its first week than spirit. and to be xmas number one album of 2009
January 10, 200916 yr 2 Beyonce #1s. Starting with Halo I doubt she'd have two. Halo will be massive though. I also think * The Saturdays will flop with their fourth single. * Christina will return in the winter with a moderately successful album and single * Alexandra will have a million-selling album by the end of 09 with a Rihanna-esque lead single * Kelly Clarkson will be bigger than she was in 2007 but i haven't heard her comeback single yet so can't really judge * TT will finally flop * Mcfly will split in the summer * GA will be as big as now with a massive album released around XF * Sugababes will be #1 in autumn and finally Rihanna will have a few more hundred hits from GGGB :P Honestly, she will be featured on a big hit single (maybe from Timbaland)
January 10, 200916 yr OMG I cant listent to what some people said...NOONE could reach Leona's debut success I wouldn't say none. People thought none would beat AM's debut sales until LL came. So who knows.
January 11, 200916 yr yeh but alexandra just isnt as talented as leona, and leona deserves to hold big records
January 11, 200916 yr Here's my predictions Robbie Williams will return, the hype will launch the album to number 1 for 2-3 weeks although I don't think its quality will be any better than Intensive Care or Rudebox. Sugababes' new album will produce one massive hit and their album will spend a week at number 1. Atomic Kitten will top the charts for 20 weeks with their comeback album Girls Aloud will release another album around about X Factor time and it'll make number 1, but have less staying power than Out of Control Leona Lewis will have the biggest selling album of the year Duffy's second album will make number 1 but generally flop in comparison to Rockferry Little Boots will top the singles and albums chart at some point in the year Single sales will rise, album sales will fall :P?
January 11, 200916 yr ^^^Unfortunetly i think your Duffy prediction may be right, the album will probably sell well but will be deemed a flop most likely. I think Adele and Kate Nash are more likely to be real flops though.
January 12, 200916 yr yeh but alexandra just isnt as talented as leona, and leona deserves to hold big records Some people are already comparing the girl to Whitney Houston  But I'd like LL to keep the fastest debut record & not Alex.
January 12, 200916 yr yeh but alexandra just isnt as talented as leona, and leona deserves to hold big records MAybe shes not a better singer than Leona (i think Leona is a soprano?) but you can't deny shes got stage presence and is an all round better performer than Leona.
January 12, 200916 yr MAybe shes not a better singer than Leona (i think Leona is a soprano?) but you can't deny shes got stage presence and is an all round better performer than Leona. Totally different types of singer - Leona far, far more impressive when asked to give a straight performance. Alexandra moves better when she's given a few backing dancers and a vocally enhanced backing track. Always found the Louis thing on X-Factor re: needing to dance a load of old nonsense - most of the greatest artists in the history of music haven't "danced" to their songs.

Always found the Louis thing on X-Factor re: needing to dance a load of old nonsense - most of the greatest artists in the history of music haven't "danced" to their songs. Leona's fantastic at doing a big ballad while Alex is great but if they both did a performance of Candyman, Alex would be amazing and Leona wouldn't. But i do love both of them and have supported both of them on XF. Louis' comment about dancing was kinda fair but dancing isn't essential when it comes to The X Factor. Louis says and does a lot of crap things though. Remember when he sent Maria home instead of the Conways just cos they were Irish and couldn't sing for poo?

I think Adele and Kate Nash are more likely to be real flops though. I'm hoping Duffy tops the chart for a week or two and has a couple of top 10's off of her album. She's definitely releasing this year I think though. Agree about Kate Nash and Adele

If both are asked to sing an uptempo song, no doubt Alex will probably outshine Leona. But if both are asked to sing big ballads, LL will own the stage. I'll take LL anyday anyway. Can't stand Alex's husky voice (imo)
January 13, 200916 yr I doubt she'd have two. Halo will be massive though. I also think * The Saturdays will flop with their fourth single.Have you heard 'Work'?? Leona will match her debut's opening and become one of the fastest selling follow-up album's EVER! Alexandra, will have a Big Number 1 hit, the album will deffo go number 1 but will not match the same success as Leona's debut has/did. Girls Aloud's Top 10 streak WILL end this year. But they will have another Number 1 single this year with a new song, from a brand new number 1 album. Robbie will flop depending on his Debut single. Eminem's album will be huge for the first week or two, then will completely bomb. 50 Cent will FLOP... HAAAAARD! Rihanna will reign supreme with her 4th album, and will have another Umbrella-stylee chart Run! :P Kate Nash's follow-up will surprise people and give her another number 2 single & Number 1 album! Jordin Sparks will finally have a Few Top 10/2 hits in a row and a Top 10 album :D Oh and Timbaland will outsell Eminem & 50 Cent's attempts, combined :)
January 13, 200916 yr Kate Nash's follow-up will surprise people and give her another number 2 single & Number 1 album! I like the sound of that! I can't wait to hear some new Nash material!
January 13, 200916 yr Sugababes- to come back and be HUGE again - number 1 single and huge album. GA- I think they will actually split up this year after the success of OOC- leaving on a high! Saturdays- will get a top 3 hit, but no number 1 Robbie- to be massive again and then say he never wanted to re-join Take That. Leona- Huge 2nd album and first single from it. Alexandra- Big first week for album due to preorders being so high. First single missing the number 1 spot though. Nelly Furtado- Comeback with a number 1 single and album- will have same success as with Loose. Can't think of any others
January 13, 200916 yr GIRLSALOUD: I think they will release another album in 2009 and split in 2010 - with a double Greatest Hits Album released in 2010 and selling LESS than TSOGA but then i should wait to put this up next year!! :P
January 13, 200916 yr Robbie will flop depending on his Debut single.  You do make me chuckle Jonjo! Of course the cheeky chappie won't flop! Norma
January 13, 200916 yr   You do make me chuckle Jonjo! Of course the cheeky chappie won't flop! Norma and rudebox was a smashing success...
