Alesha is NOT going to lose loads of sales. What rubbish! She may achieve a lower peak in the end because she's getting the sales now but performing on NYE was an easy choice when the alternative was not doing and not getting the sales from that. To suggest she should've skipped a promotional oppurtunity, and a big one at that, is absolutely ludicrous.

I agree completely! How has she lost sales :/ the sales are still going towards the singles total sales! Yeah, she might get a lower peak but sales are a lot more important than position's! I'd rather it sell more in total and peak a few places lower tbh...and this way the album can start climbing nicely before the week of release for the single! ^_^

Not really :/ If anyone thinks that an artist shouldn't promote their song on a show with a massive audience is a bit backwards tbh....Why would it be good for her not to do it? :huh:

i presume you also think girls aloud should have skipped there tv show on itv before the x factor final as they must have got a lot of sales after that!

Exactly. I know what you're saying Robintime but if she hadn't done it, she wouldn't be getting (anywhere near) as many sales in total I don't think. It wouldn't rise iTunes until a fortnight or so before release when airplay kicks in and so it's getting a lot of sales now it just wouldn't have got otherwise. When airplay does kick in, it'll increase further. I'm very sure she's looking at another easy top 10...

Agreed. Also i cannot see it going below the top 20 now. I was unsure initially but the fact its already at 30 on itunes with minimum radio and tv exposure means people must like it. If it goes top 20 and her album sales increase i'll be pleased.
