Just watched it on TV.. And its not exactly horror but jesus did it creep me out. I mean what was up with the freaky looking jesus in the cupboard!? I know it was like a reference to her mothers death and everything but jesus that thing was more creepy than the whole film itself

But anyway, the film is exactly what i love about the classic horrors and more recently The Strangers. It doesnt rely on the long tension scenes and then you hear a massive thump and yet you expect people to be scared.. The music, the direction, everything in this film builds up tension. Throughout the film i was like O___O The mother im sure was not intended to be completely demented but she was absolutely MAD!! The scene where she was chasing Carrie with a knife in the end and all you see is her face smiling down at the camera was completely W...T...F!!!!

Favourite scene - After the blood has been spilt and the whole scene is muted and all you hear is the bucket and the blood dripping. Amazing. Its things like that, that remind me why im doing Film Studies.

I dont think ill be looking at the cross in the same way ever again

LOVE LOVE LOVE This film! One of my fave Horror/Chillers. I always remember the end the most when I think of Carrie. The first time I saw it I jumped RIGHT out of my skin and was absoloutely terrified. I can definately see why it is deemed as a "Classic". Gripping stuff.

Have you seen Carrie 2, Joao?

I watched it too, proper freaky, not scary but really freaky

How weird does she look when she's going all psycho on us

Awesome movie. I found it very sad when

Carrie killed the PE teacher. :(
