October 16, 200915 yr Cian I've posted that earlier - it was on the Chart-track website. We've establised that the IRMA website hasn't been updated yet... And because I had no proof, you're all going to deny what I know as a fact, that it DID update, then it reverted for some reason and is stuck on the 8th again.

In the process she racks up the highest weekly sales tally of the year so far, overtaking this year’s record set last week by Alexandra Burke & Flo Rida, who drop to No2 with ‘Bad Boys’ after just one week at the top. This week’s highest new entry is at No7 for Tupelo and the pupils of Gaelscoil Bharra, Cabra with their protest song ‘Cá Bhfuil Ár Scoil?’, in support of their campaign to get a permanent school after 14 years in prefabs. Whitney Houston lands just outside the Top 10 at No11 with ‘Million Dollar Bill’ – nine years after her previous hit ‘Could I Have This Kiss Forever’ (with Enrique Iglesias) reached No8. The third new entry is a charity release in aid of War Child – ‘I Got Soul’ at No19 from Young Soul Rebels, a collaboration of young British urban artists including Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk and Ironik. In another week of upheaval for the Album Chart there are four new entries in the Top10. Canadian crooner Michael Bublé leads the pack with his fourth studio album ‘Crazy Love’, repeating the success of ‘Call Me Irresponsible’ which was No1 over the Christmas period 2007. Alexandra Burke is new at No2 with her debut album ‘Overcome’, ahead of Whitney Houston who comes in at No3 with ‘I Look To You’, her best showing on this chart since 2000, when her ‘Greatest Hits’ spent four weeks at No1. There’s also a return to the chart for her ‘Ultimate Collection’, a re-entry at No7 two years after debuting and peaking at No6. Jack L completes the quartet of Top 10 new entries with his ‘Essential Collection – The Story So Far’ new at No6 – a personal best on this chart ahead of No8 for ‘Universe’, No11 for ‘Broken Songs’ and No9 for ‘Burn On’. Shakyfan's Commentary Well it seems that we're only going to get the Top 10 Indie Artist Albums from now on. There's very little change in the Top 10 with 2 songs returning and the Coronas replacing Delorentos after losing their crown last week. You Can Make Sound drops back to 3 but on the main album chart it plummets from 2 to 28. There's an even bigger fall for the Editors who go from 4 to 33 but outdoing both is the new one from the Saturdays which slips from 36 to 91. Also dropping is Imelda May's Love Tattoo which drops to an all-time low of 30 in it's 39th week on the chart. Last week saw Identity Parade clock up their 4th hit single - none of which has managed more than 1 week in the Top 50. One For The Road reached 37 followed by OOh Ooh which made 33. More recently Collette Collar entered at 15 while Kicking Stones made no 12 seven days ago. Who Are They? Ne 07 Tupelo - Ca Bhfuil Ar Scoil? Tupelo to release single 'Ca Bhfuil Ar Scoil?' in aid of Gaelscoil Bharra, Cabra On the 16th of Ocotber, Tupelo will be releasing the single 'Ca Bhfuil Ar Scoil?' in aid of Gaelscoil Bharra in Cabra. The release of the song is part of a campaign being carried out by the parents of the children in Gaelscoil Bharra to get a permanent building to house the school after 14 years in prefabs. Currently the school is located in “temporary” accommodation - if 14 years can be deemed temporary - on the grounds of St. Finbarr’s GAA club in Cabra. The prefabs are in appalling condition. The children have experienced horrible conditions including sinking floors, leaking roofs, sewage problems to name but a few. The children have also said their biggest issue, after the toilets, seems to be the cold in the winter. There are storage heaters in the classrooms but they do not heat the rooms adequately and additional free standing heaters cannot be used for health and safety reasons. Here is a link to a video about the school's struggle - ....................http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLdnoWMDBwI. Ne 21 River Valley Band - Kimberly The River Valley Band was built on the sound of deep american folk music and the materials used to finish it were the wild earth and stone tones of modern Ireland, yet they sound neither American nor Irish. They are not contracted to any style, they are children of music, ripping strips from musical fabrics that stretch from the deserts to the cellars and weaving themselves a robe of their own that just can't be found in the common high street fashion outlets. This is not a fashion, it is custom made, individually tailored beyond any haute couture or million dollar dress and it's all yours to hang in a glass case or throw under the bed. The sound of The River Valley Band is just as alive as the common pickpocket or the lady who runs the country and it's impossible not to dance to it when it's bellowing it's foreign name at you. Consisting of five Kilkenny born persons, they meet every week under a glassblower's roof and toil away while the country sleeps to churn their creamy tunes to butter. They are none of them trained, none with recognised powers, but they have life in them that the land seems to otherwise drain from people, they are free and so is their music and that's an ingredient that can't be grown or sprinkled in. Lead singer Danny Coady has an energy in his voice that can move from frightening the wild to touching the transparent with a tilt of his head, and at his right hand side is Conor Brett, who, with stammering precision and equal aggression hits all the right notes on his axe to hammer in anything Danny may say. Currently being tamed in the studio, The River Valley Band are in pre-production for their debut album; Drunk in the Wine Cellar. Aiming for a release in early 2009, they are already writing new material for a second capturing. Ne 23 Julie-anne Dineen - River Deep Mountain High Limerick woman Juie-anne released her first single "Do You Believe" earlier this year to raise funds for a local breast cancer charity. Having reached no 1 she has now issued a follow-up which arrives at 23. Once again all profits go to the charity All 3 of these tracks are available outside Ireland via http://www.downloadmusic.ie/ They cost 99 cents each (about 90p) Number 1 this week Single: Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love (1st week) Chart Run to date: 13 1 Download: Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love (1st week) Chart Run to date: 12 1 Artist Album: Michael Buble - Crazy Love (1st week) Chart Run to date: 1 Compilation Album: Twilight: New Moon (OST) (1st week) Chart Run to date: 1 Indie Artist Album: Coronas - Tony Was An Ex Con (1st week - 3rd in total) Chart Run to date: 1 1 2 1 Edited October 25, 200915 yr by Shaky Fan

October 24, 200915 yr I haven't heard it getting much Airplay over hear tbh, so I would say thats why..... Damn hopefuly airplay increases for FIO then, this week's charts alone really depict The Sats as the female McFly which hopefuly in the end won't be the case, the Chasing Lights era was anything but McFly-like and look at what's going on with this era! :drama:
