Posted January 6, 200916 yr Jonathan Ross show returns to BBC1 Source: MW 14:32 | Tuesday January 6, 2009 Friday Night with Jonathan Ross returns to BBC1 on Friday January 23, following the presenter’s three-month suspension over the Sachsgate affair. The show returns to its regular 10.40pm slot the day before Ross’s Radio Two show restarts, on January 24. The show was suspended following complaints to the BBC over prank calls made by Ross and Russell Brand to former Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs. As one of the few TV shows to feature musical guests in a prominent slot, its absence was keenly felt throughout the UK music industry. Filming of the show, which is expected to retain a similar format, is scheduled to take place on January 21 or 22, with guests expected to be confirmed tomorrow (January 7).

January 6, 200916 yr I thought he was good, not because he was funny, but because he gave a lot of new and underground bands exposure. Hope Grace Jones is on the show - she should be in the country for her tour by then (I'm seeing her in Manchester on the 23rd).

January 8, 200916 yr Well, I'd like to see Russell Brand as his first guest. They are my number 1 comedy villain duo of all time. I want them reunited. Nah, I heard Tom Cruise is in talks to appear. I don't know. I never really watched it before but I will watch if Tom Cruise is on because I quite like him.
