Jay was ridiculous when he came into this and they've made him even worse. I've been watching it a bit lately (because Janine is back and Nick :wub: was for a while). But you have to laugh at the cliched lines they come up with, for instance Jay the other night talking to the drag-queen object of his lust "Lets get away from here ... anywhere". How many characters in the last couple of weeks in this soap have said this line?

At last! A believable and sensible decision / scene in Eastenders! Bradley deciding that it is just not practical to keep a dog that is the size of a Shetland Pony in a dingy, Eastend house / flat / whatever!
