I knew

Archie would die at Christmas but I guessed he'd have a brain tumour or something since there's been this lark about his hospital appointment.

As for the father of the baby being

Darren, that's frigging ridiculous. I pray that isn't true. He's devoted to Libby, there'd be no reason for him to sleep with somebody else, especially not Heather!

I know but

I'm wondering if it could be a way to give his character more of a purpose now Libby is at Uni and the rest of his family have left.

Also, in Inside Soap magazine Cheryl Ferguson said "When I did hear the news, I actually felt quite sorry for the dad. I wondered, What are the viewers going to think about that?". Then she talks about how Heather may cope with the potential fathers. I'll summarise for each. Minty - secretly pleased, what she wants. Phil - complicated, have to choose Shirley or Phil, Phil is aggressive too. Billy - knows he'd be a good father, but he's a Mitchell. Darren - mortified because of age gap, she'd understand the drama if it was him, scary to think of consequences.

To me that last bit narrows it down to Phil or Darren, the other two would be a bit boring (especially Billy) really. So when you combine that with her 'feeling sorry for him' and worrying about the viewers reaction, I'd say that it all points towards Darren. Perhaps it's all a red herring, but that's my guess for now.

Oh well, I don't want to know for definite until it airs so I'm not reading any more spoilers for the time being.

This made me a bit hysterical earlier.

How exciting! There aren't any recent pictures of the actress so it's all a bit of a mystery as to how she's going to look. Fabulous.

Last nights ep was fab.

Pat & Peggy scenes were some of the best in years

Loved when they played Billie Jean in the Vic too when Billy and Jean were there :heehee:
