I'm suprised this isn't known as widely as I would expect by now but anyway we knew The Libertines as Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hassell and Gary Powell, right?

But the original bassist in The Libertines was actually a certain man called Johnny Borrell! Who later left the band because they apparently had 'no ambition'.

The irony is Razorlight wouldn't have been as successful if it was for The Libertines helping The Strokes to cause the shift in power to go back to guitar bands in the first place.

so in the end Johnny Borell owns all hi success to a band he thought he was too good for.

and although now a days Razor$h!te have proberly out sold The Libertines a fair bit, The Libs are still deemed more influential and well as for Raznor$h!te, they are just plain $h!t.

I don't understand how he went from being in one of the most influential, amazing bands ever to fronting the biggest pile of $h!t ever!
