This is close to the record set by Oasis of 134 weeks in a calender year in the 90s She has also taken 8 singles off of an album (albeit with a deluxe re-release), is this a female record? (I believe Michael Jackson has done more with Thriller). She also appeared on a 9th single with T.I. (although not included on her album unless it is re-re-reloaded :lol:) although only 5 were released in 2008, this could also be a female record. Rihanna now sets an all time record for most weeks ever on the singles chart in a calendar year, spending an incredible 202 weeks on the top75 in 2011. Occurring only 2 years after GaGa set a new record with 156/157 (depending on source), can this even be bested? Also occurring in a year where it was announced she's sold over 12mil singles overall which should currently place her in the top 5 of all time for this and close to the top 5 for the most weeks on the chart ever (only woman ahead on both counts is Madonna). December 26, 201113 yr Whatever people think of Rihanna her ability to churn out hits is second to none. If she carrys on the way she is she should become the biggest selling singles artist in the UK ever.

December 26, 201113 yr ^ That could be just in the US, since they sometimes use different crediting in different countries. Although, it last time I checked on the OCC's website it was credited to Kanye West, Rihanna and Drake (even thought Drake isn't even on the song :drama:), so it would still count anyway if that's how it's credited here.

December 27, 201113 yr I know many people, myself included, have mentioned just how solid a Rihanna 'Greatest Hits' package would be. For me, Rihanna is one of the few artists around who has continued to improve immensely over the years.
