Could the Girls Aloud climb be attributed to the crazed fans on their forum downloading it off every I-Tunes account they can create before midnights (would a hundred or so downloads be enough to help it up a few places on I-Tunes?)

They seem to be making a last push to get a few more sales - someone has bought 31 copies of the cd and someone else had accounted for 22 sales between the cd and downloads - don't think I have seen dedication like that before :o :o :o

Looks like Pokerface may be losing its momentum for a while until the video surfaces on the UK tv stations and radio start to playlist it.

 Talk about people being desperate

I meant on iTunes if they wanted to buy a few extra copies, you can send them to other people. But it's too late for it to count in the chart now so I wont. It makes for an interesting point though. It's not a bad idea though, getting a free song for providing your iTunes e-mail address to 'help' crazy fans get their artists higher in the charts.

Don't give them ideas - or they'll start using that idea this week to try and get it higher in the charts :o :o

And btw - whilst I'm not a fan really, I do think its great for them if they can continue their run of to 10s - good on them.

I'm pleased that Gaga stayed at number 1 all week.

A saint is born

A saint is born

A saint with too much money. They should have bought 32 so the photo was all even.

I suspect they emptied the shelves as that was done in 2 trips apparently - each one bought separately so they each counted as sales. Can you imagine how long that must have taken and how fed up the check out staff must have been (I best stop as I've made the thread drift off-topic)

Looking forward to the next i-tines update B) B)

Can you imagine what the checkout staff must have been thinking, or the sort of looks they were giving this person?!

My god buying 31 copies of the same cd is insane!!! I wonder if the buyer remembered to buy them all individually?

So judging by that - the last minute panic buying by Girls Aloud fans on I-tunes resulted in The Loving Kind gong down to 14 but The Promise has climbed 1 instead ... maybe the fans bought the wrong single

The Saturdays - Up has climbed wel so their performance on Eurovision must have done they well.

Dear LORD. That picture is proof that GA's fanbase truly contains some of the most ridiculous (and possibly mentally-unstable) LOONS on the planet. Some of them are up there with the Beyonce/Madonna stans! Crazy stuff. If that guy really had £62 to blow he could've just bought it twice and given £58 to charity!

Eurovision did well for The Saturdays then!

I truly hope this is the only time I ever read that.

Not unlike the Sugababes fanbase then.

Each to their own. :smoke:

I wish the Sugababes fanbase WERE so loon-ish, then perhaps they'd flop less. :teresa:
