May 6, 200916 yr I don't really know. He could be spying on us right now as a guest, who knows. :o I'm not even to sure why he left, he came on a few months ago, said hello and then left again shortly after. It's a mystery! Oh I agree. I think you know if you're 'different' at an early age, I certainly did. I wasn't completely sure a year ago and I still don't really know now. I just think Harve's a bit young to be completely sure about it. I thought I was and then I kind of changed my mind. :P Pfft, he never said hi to me. Gutted. :( I know I don't talk to you but I wouldn't have guessed that you were 'confused'. Then again, I thought Harve seemed straight and I actually talk to him, so I guess I'm quite rubbish at speculation. I see what you mean though, I guess people can go through phases after all. Very true I'd say 12/13 is the age that i decided, i'd say it was a few more years afterwards though until i was officially out of the closet completly. :arrr: So does even your family know? :o

Then again, I thought Harve seemed straight and I actually talk to him, so I guess I'm quite rubbish at speculation. I see what you mean though, I guess people can go through phases after all. I always thought Harve was straight as well. There you go. Have you never wondered about how many people on here are gay/bi and then how many you know in real life? I'd say the majority on here are and I know like... two people who are outside of Buzzjack haha.
May 7, 200916 yr Author LOL, I always Harve was straight aswell. Aaron - Well sort of. My mum does and so do my friends/work colleagues and such.

Have you never wondered about how many people on here are gay/bi and then how many you know in real life? I'd say the majority on here are and I know like... two people who are outside of Buzzjack haha. But Buzzjack is quite skewed in that aspect really, for no apparent reason. o_O I think I know of one gay person outside of Buzzjack. I guess gay people like discussing chart music. LOL, I always Harve was straight aswell. Aaron - Well sort of. My mum does and so do my friends/work colleagues and such. See, he must have been doing something to give us that idea. Then he didn't get why I thought he was joking when he told me. -_- Ooh I didn't know. :o
May 7, 200916 yr Author Didnt know what exactly? Please dont tell me it's the fact that im gay, since thats probably the most obvious thing in existance LOL
May 7, 200916 yr Didnt know what exactly? Please dont tell me it's the fact that im gay, since thats probably the most obvious thing in existance LOL Oh, I thought you could be straight and have half-naked men in your avatar. :( Nah, I meant like that you told you Mum but I guess we haven't talked about it before. Is she the only one in your family who knows?
May 7, 200916 yr It's strange that I wouldn't tell anyone in real life I'm bi yet I'd tell anyone who asked on a forum LOL. What are you doing at teh weekend anyone? :o
May 7, 200916 yr It's strange that I wouldn't tell anyone in real life I'm bi yet I'd tell anyone who asked on a forum LOL. What are you doing at teh weekend anyone? :o Well there's no pressure on a forum/the internet is there? If they react badly to it 1) It doesn't really matter 2) You can easily get away from it and go somewhere else, nothing will change. Not quite as easy in real life though I thought 'coming out' as bi wouldn't be so hard. Maybe it is for guys, it seems more accepted for a female to be bi than a male imo. I'm probably gonna have an uneventful weekend (as usual) I should probably start my assignment, due on the 13th, this weekend and perhaps go into town. I still have £25 of HMV vouchers from Christmas to shift. What will you be doing? :o

The general feeling at school is pretty much if you're bi, you like boys so you MUST be gay. I think coming out as bi or gay would be as hard as each other. Especially for people whose families are completely against the idea altogether. What is the assignment for? Mmmm not sure yet, think I'm going out to play rugby one day and then tennis on the other. :/ How exciting.
May 8, 200916 yr Woo mass reply: You're a bit, er, young aren't you. :P I'm not having a go or anything. I was in a similar situation around this time last year or so (I think?). In hindsight i think i have been all my life :o. I first suspected when i was about 12 :o, then i 'accepted' it since i was about 13. It is really in the last month when i actually TALKED about it, to Buzzjack people, that i felt comfortable of who i am ^_^. Seriously, without Buzzjack i might've been closeted for years and years, whilst now i hope to come out before the end of this term :o. I don't really know. He could be spying on us right now as a guest, who knows. :o I'm not even to sure why he left, he came on a few months ago, said hello and then left again shortly after. It's a mystery! Oh I agree. I just think Harve's a bit young to be completely sure about it. I thought I was and then I kind of changed my mind. :P Hmm, what do you mean by "i thought i was completely sure i was"; as what? :o I only remember Dan for doing far too well in the prediction games, must've disappeared shortly after i joined. I always thought Harve was straight as well. There you go. Have you never wondered about how many people on here are gay/bi and then how many you know in real life? I'd say the majority on here are and I know like... two people who are outside of Buzzjack haha. I know 0 :o, i'm pretty there are some closeted though. I don't think i've even seen someone who's obviously gay in real life :S Aaron - Well sort of. My mum does and so do my friends/work colleagues and such. How old are you Aled? :o I'm extremely reluctant to tell my dad, he's probably very naive etc. :(. Whereas i want to tell others, it doesn't seem to make it any easier though :S See, he must have been doing something to give us that idea. Then he didn't get why I thought he was joking when he told me. -_- Lol i've realised that no-one at all has a clue either . I suppose i'm pretty straight acting, although i'm not really into football or rugby all that much, whilst it seems like Jonny is. I'm not sure what gave you that idea anyway . What are you doing at teh weekend anyone? :o I'm doing *some* revision because of Biology exam , and not much else. It's so boring i'm not even gonna post it in the weekend plans thread LOL. Mmmm not sure yet, think I'm going out to play rugby one day and then tennis on the other. :/ How exciting. More exciting than mine LOL. Haven't you been to school today? :o I'd die if i went to bed at 1 and up for whatever time you get up; presumably no later than 7.30.

Do you not have any feelings for women at all then? Has there never been a lass at your school who you've thought 'wow, she's fit'? I'm not saying for you to change your feelings but if there's ANY doubt at all I'd say not to come out yet. I don't think I'd ever tell ANYONE how I really felt in real life, not because I'm scared of what they'd say, just because I don't think I could ever be sure enough. Ohh and I agree about Buzzjack as well. Being surrounded by so many gay people kinda makes you think about it haha. I thought I was gay but then I realised I wasn't. That's why I'm saying don't rush into it. :P Aye, it's an awful sterotype that if you like rugby / football you have to be straight. I don't act bi (if you can act bi?!) in real life at all, there are some really obvious people in my year who you know are gay but just don't admit it lol. I don't sleep very much. :( I don't see the point in it LOL. I go about two-ish some nights and get up about seven.

But if that counts as being bi i'm not sure what to come out as . I guess to most people there isn't much difference, i'm still attracted to men either way (and i'm certain of that btw). I have known since i was about 12/13 so i don't think i'm really rushing into it. I'm not sure if there's anyone else that's gay at all :S. My year's only got 35 in it so there's a chance of that :o. The problem with the stereotype is that there are no positive role models in the media IMO -_-. Maybe Kele Okereke of Bloc Party. I'd crack with that amount of sleep :o. There's a massive difference in the next day and day after that between going to bed at 11.00 and going to bed at 12.00 for me :o.

Why weren't you before? :o I thought my area was bad, I think our town is quite conservative but one person came out as gay at school and I suspected two more in my year. Then today someone who I never expected (he always used to call me gay to be 'funny' :/) walking down the street with longish pink hair, skinny jeans and a tight T-shirt. Now I don't like stereotyping but COME ON. I just kinda laughed in disbelief. See, you're good! I thought that Shrovetide thing is quite football-ish though. :o I don't think I'd ever tell ANYONE how I really felt in real life, not because I'm scared of what they'd say, just because I don't think I could ever be sure enough. How come you don't think you'll be sure enough? :o Doesn't even a degree of attraction to men make you bisexual? I'm not sure if it's really a sport, plus i don't really play it: i've only touched the ball once (considering there's 3000 people there that's more than most). Sorry for being thick but what actually is "open university"? Isn't it just where you take your time, i.e. do nothing? :heehee:. And i've never seen anyone dressing like that before :/. But Aaron, be thankful you don't live in BNP capital of the world :). Just talking about it makes me feel far more comfortable about it. I weren't comfortable about it before because i didn't know what to DO. I've worded that wrong LOL :S I guess homophobia here is more passive and people only are homophobic because everyone else is :/. I don't think that really counts as bi. It's just the usual TV presenter types, you know what i mean? :o Lol i kinda realised Kele was after listening closely to I Still Remember :o: http://www.lyricsday.com/Bloc_Party-I_Stil...cs-1381425.html Lol there's a lot doing drama, don't suspect any though . Ugh, i feel bad speculating
May 9, 200916 yr Author Wow! Not only have we moved on from having to insult each other, were actually having a serious discussion! Does Jonny have this influence everywhere? As you can imagine in rural Wales, i didnt really know that many gay people to start with, except for the people called gay in school who usually are the most straight people in existance. A lot of people also argue that they dont have a problem with gay people but when faced with one, feel very uncomftarble.

Ugh, i feel bad speculating  I doubt it's a sport but it seemed kinda masculine. (stereotyping again, oops) It's basically that really. You don't have to go to an actual University, you do it from home, and I think anyone is allowed to do a course. Basically it's for people too dumb or weird to go to proper University. (like me -_-) I don't think I had either, it was weird because he was so...'plain' at school. True, we don't get shocked when we see black people we do when we see gays. Riiight, so you were like worried? I suppose you'll find out if it's only passive in a while. :o But, no, I wouldn't say you were bi from what you said. Gay people can find women attractive. I was being sarcastic, they don't exactly remove the 'fairy' stereotype, do they? -_- Those lyrics seemed kinda gender neutral to me but I suppose girls wearing trousers at school is only 'recent'. Well at my school the two boys from my year that were nearly always in the school plays ended up being gay (I think), but I know there were straight boys who did Drama too, so that's not strictly a good idea. Wow! Not only have we moved on from having to insult each other, were actually having a serious discussion! Does Jonny have this influence everywhere? A lot of people also argue that they dont have a problem with gay people but when faced with one, feel very uncomftarble. LOL I guess so, makes a change I guess. Yeah, I think you're right, lots of people "aren't homophobic" they "just don't agree with it" or "don't like being around it". Which is fair enough I guess but it seems a bit contradictary.

I can never imagine myself growing old and living with a man haha whilst it's different for girls. If you're sure then tell people then, but don't be surprised if some people make some horrid reaction when you tell them. LOL there's 310 in mine, I'm sure some other people must be. :/ Who are you going to tell? Ohh I agree. I never new Kele had actually come out. There's always been speculation about his sexuality but he's never actually said anything I don't think. I don't really find it hard to get up in the morning so it doesn't bother me what time I go to sleep. I only really sleep when I have to. I don't think anyone on here would say anything about you gay/bi/straight/whatever which, I suppose, is a good thing. ^_^ I see where you're coming from on that, I'm not sure about the whole 'bi' thing myself. I could never see myself having a boyfriend for life (or even falling in love with a guy) but I could if I found a girl I really liked. Well where I live bi means you're attracted to men so the chances of a girl going out with someone who is bi is quite small. I'm just worried that if I told everyone then I would completely ruin any chanced of going out with a girl. :P Strange I know haha.
May 10, 200916 yr Like I said above; I'm attracted to men and women for different things really. I'm just worried that if I told everyone then I would completely ruin any chanced of going out with a girl. :P Strange I know haha. I think I know what you mean, you don't really associate gay men with long-term relationships in general. I reckon it's probably easier for a man and a woman to connect emotionally and fall in love than two guys, you wouldn't think so with it being the same gender. I'm assuming you haven't told anyone, so how can you be sure that you wouldn't fall in love with a guy? :o Yeah, I remember at school when a girl in my form found out she was dating a bi boy and she really wasn't impressed. I guess it's not easy thinking you boyfriend might prefer to be with another man if you're a woman. I'm sure you'll figure yourself out in a few years, I guess it's not as easy as trying to stick to one gender if you're bi.
May 10, 200916 yr A lot of people also argue that they dont have a problem with gay people but when faced with one, feel very uncomftarble. Too dumb?!? I don't think you're too dumb if you have 12 A*/A/Bs in GCSEs :o OK this is probably gonna make me look racist (again) and is kinda off the point, but i get very shocked when i see black people outside cities. I don't think i've EVER seen any in the local towns :o. Then again i've never seen an openly/obviously gay person  (De ja vu :/). Were you? I can't put a face to most of those names :(. The lyrics could be gender neutral, but girls don't really wear ties :o. Lol i wasn't getting any ideas  Hmm I know what you mean. Yeah realising that i'd never have kids and stuff hit me all at once and that felt pretty awful. I've made myself accept it now, whereas before i knew i was gay but i :/ed at the thought of me being with another man, especially long term. Ofc i'd expect bad reactions, but i'm a realist yet i still don't think it'll be *that* bad, bullying of any sort is pretty much non existent here imo, it seemed to stop when everyone grew up. I know exactly who i'm going to tell first, practically the only person who i feel close enough to who is mature enough to deal with it and trustworthy enough to keep a secret, for a while :P. Hmm, maybe i was looking too deep into things, but still some people seem to agree with me: http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/353...636029/#comment And that's not strange at all :o, it's completely logical . I've never had any relationship since i realised, although i wanted a gf when i was in denial to prove to myself i was straight (:manson: @ this), and before that i was very young so it doesn't really count at all -_-.
