A song that charts high is suppossed to be there because a lot of people bought it, not because a bunch of insane fans bought 32 physical single copies (pic in the other iTunes thread) and another 20 downloads... That's the only reason they're gonna be #10 tomorrow, because if instead of the number of copies we counted the people who got TLK they will be top 40...

 

Anyway, the top 10 will be there and you all now-almost-broke-after-this-expensive-week-fans could be happy with it, but what makes a song successful is its chart run and longevity...

 

Yes, McFly had a lot of top 10s as well... but we all now their fabulous chart runs. Maybe that's what you want GA to become.

Issues breaking away from Kevin now & Fantastic for Up, I guess they performed up to sell the album as issues is being played everywhere and I loved the fact The Saturdays are doing soo well they can now afford Dancers :D

 

I have to say that was a fantastic performance last night so fingers crossed Up gets back into the top 20!

The ONLY reason TLK is struggling to sell is because the album went through a massive intense promo phase during the xfactor. Almost everyone who had the potential of buying the new GA album has now got it.

 

It doesnt mean the song is unpopular, it was top 5 on airplay last week and is expected to climb again this week :rolleyes:

 

I know a lot of people who say its their fave song on the album and it does deserve top 10 compared to some others they have had.

Suprised TBDN has gone up a little but pleased for Alesha, hopefully she'll have both her songs in the top 30 officia charts this evening.

I hope Alesha's album starts to sell...that's all that matters, or else she wont get another chance!

Alesha's album is doing fine, it's crossed 100k already and jumped 21 places last week, it will continue to climb until 'Breathe Slow' is released I would imagine.
