Wow, so they DO add new songs! Great news for September, J-Hud and MGMT anyway :cheer:

Spot the difference between Galaxy and Capital's playlists.

One or two more dancey/hip hoppy songs on Galaxy and Coldplay and The Script on Capital. That's it.

I thought this was supposed to be a dance/urban radio station, yet they appear to have MGMT and The Killers on the playlist, which are indie bands! Then there's the issue of teh amount of Urban/R+B in the playlist

Just shows that if it wasn't for Kiss 100 in London and Kiss 101 in South Wales, Capital and Red Dragon would be rebranded as Galaxy. Either that or Global want the Galaxy and the 2 Hit Music Stations to eventually come together to share the same playlist!

For a station that's all about dance and R&B, they certainly dont seem to be supporting the dance...

The Saturdays, Killers, Sugababes, Britney, Mgmt, are you kidding me?

Hmmm even though I often wake up to Galaxy I hadn't even noticed they'd virtually given up on the dance component. :o

A lot of the pop they play is dance remixes - definitely Pink is a remix, and I think the Sats too. But their playlist is very R&B orientated.

Eventually? They already are! That was my point. Global Radio will be the ruination of good radio in this country.
