But once again, they are advertising it wrong just like every other Dushku project they have :(

God, what is WRONG with Fox????? They have good shows, and then just seem to go out of their way to sabotage them...... <_<

Fox are taking advantage of the fact that The Sarah Connor Chronicles is on right before it. But once again, they are advertising it wrong just like every other Dushku project they have :(

They do that with most new shows to be fair. Like their new drama Lie To Me would never have as good as ratings it has if it wasn't for the American Idol lead-in! Sarah Connor Chronicles has done absolutely AWFUL in the ratings this year, and i'd say there's an 80% chance it'll be cancelled unless it holds its own in its new timeslot. Plus i'm sure Summer Glau has quit. FOX are billing Friday nights from this week as a Sci-Fi fan's wet dream... I think it might work.

Premieres tomorrow :w00t:

The theme song has also leaked, its okay-ish... I was expecting a more rock-y uptempo song Similar to the Buffy theme...

ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Through out the whole episode your just caught in the world of Joss Whedon... If all the other episodes are like this then i think it might become one of the best things he has ever done..

Also look out for the Tech guy' Whedon-esque wit..

It was really good. Second favourite programme after Lost methinks.
I loved the first episode. Kinda upset that and Sarah Connor didnt do that well in the ratings (I think its safe to say Sarah Connor wont get a 3rd season) but they have confirmed they will show all 13 Dollhouse episodes :D

Sarah Connor is finished. No chance of a 3rd season.

I quite liked Dollhouse, it's an interesting concept although I was quite confused by some points. Like I didn't get the ending for example? I don't understand anything about it, or why he killed those people. And I thought that Russian guy was meant to be a Doll too?

oops I missed it.

The premiere was US, so you can catch it online

Sadly your right. I'm meeting Summer Glau from Sarah Connor in April (She's so nice in real life and gorgeous as well) so I'm bummed about the show. Dollhouse was a bit confusing in areas but after the second watch I understood it a lot more.

The ending is my understanding of the guy being a rogue doll (Alpha is his name?)

I quite like that there's an element of mystery about the show. Especially about Echo, and I hope we eventually discover what she did to go under the program.

I thought it was Echo's boyfriend. Although there being a rouge doll would make sense, and certainly adds a new dimension to the show.

Did anyone notice the AMAZING cinematography during Tahmoh's first scenes?

when he was being interrogated by his boss and the boxing match was going on at the same time... I thought it was edited and timed PERFECTLY

Joss Whedon's highly anticipated new series Dollhouse got off to a sluggish start in the ratings on Friday night.

The show stars Buffy alumnus Eliza Dushku as one of several "dolls" whose memories can be imprinted with different skills and personality traits.

According to early figures, the premiere pulled in 4.7 million viewers in the 9pm hour on Friday for Fox. The ratings represent the second lowest premiere audience for a scripted series on a major broadcast network this season, behind only NBC's ill-fated adventure drama Crusoe.

Dollhouse was beaten in its slot by ABC's Supernanny, which drew 6.1 million for the hour.

Earlier, the return of The Sarah Connor Chronicles after a midseason break proved a poor lead-in for Dollhouse, with just 3.7 million viewers in the 8pm hour.

Shocking  But tbh, its not THAT bad...

well regardless it will air all 13 episodes of season 1 before they decided to cancel it or not. So I guess we cant complain that much.
4.7 is terrible. Really bad. It probably won't have helped that the lead-in was so poor (as normally when a new strong new show debuts, it has a big show as a lead-in to draw viewers in...). Unless ratings dramatically rise through word of mouth, or FOX see potential in the show and develop it, then I can't see a 2nd series...

Heard loads about this, as a big Buffy & Angel fan i'm looking forward to this.

With Joss Whedon at the helm it looks damn good, and i like Eliza Dusku, loved Tru Calling.

Can't wait to see it on Sky1 when they show it.

But the show didn't stop there, "Dollhouse" has become a major hit on iTunes, passing "Battlestar Galactica" as the store's number one purchased download yesterday. It's also one of the five most popular episodes available on Hulu right now.

Sounds like a success to me...

Where can I watch this online? I missed the premiere as whoever was in charge of promoting it did a $h!tty job. I didn't even know it started yet. lmfao.
