What the actual f*** at the Twins still being there.

I have to admit, I haven't been voting at all but I'll certainly be voting for Jade next week :o

Sure he's nice to look at but he's a pretty average performer - why on earth would you prefer him?

It depends if the Eurovision song is Upbeat or not...

 

Ballad - My pick would be Mark

Uptempo/Mid Tempo - My pick would be Jade

 

Jade is FARRR Better performing the Uptempo stuff than she is with doing the ballads. Tonight, I felt Mark was better than Jade...

 

But I do kinda see what TIP is saying though with the whole "Mark whilst possessing a very good voice is about as suitable to ESC as a Jew at a Neo-Nazi rally" thing, but I guess we will have to wait until next week to see who really pulls off their Eurovision song ;)

 

But I am already expecting "OMG Jade was PHENOMENAL" comments even though she gives just an "O.K" performance. ;)

Rather worrying that Jade was in the b2.

 

Knowing the UK we'll probably send the tone deaf Twins.

Well all I can say about tonight would be censored so I don't think I'll say anything....

This is one time where I'm hoping the show was fixed and Jade was in the bottom two for the "she was in trouble last week, we must save her this time!" factor, though that didn't exactly work for EOS. No idea how the Twins stayed, they're really quite awful. I'm not a fan of Mark, but he isn't that bad. I don't think any of the acts are that great but Jade would probably have our best entry for a while.

I hope, for the UK's sake, people pick up their f***ing phones next week and dial Jade's (or at the very least, Mark's) number - it's like we're trying to sabotage ourselves.

Im gonna jump in here and defend the twins. I actually think they sing well and should be given a chance....why so much hate! Im sad that EOS didnt make it, they seem a great bunch and you could see the dissappoitment but thats the way it happens. Mark is decent but I didnt really dig Jades singing TBH.

 

Just goes to show what a subjective thing music is :)

 

By the way Im totally not a fan of chart music but I really liked Alesha's song Breathe Slow. She gave a great performance!

 

 

^ That's the problem with the twins - they can sing pretty well, and have nice deacent voices ... but you wouldn't know it from the shambolic performance tonight. Maybe they were nervous, maybe they bit off more than they could chew - but they can't afford to do that or let it affect them in Moscow. They're dangerous for the UK ... Jade, and to a lesser extent, Mark, are much safer for us.

Why are the twins dangerous for the UK?

 

They are our only hope, the ESC doesn't need another diva wannabe, the diva competition from the other Euro Countries would see to that, whereby there'll be that many appearing the UK WOULD lose votes.

 

The Twins are our safest bet and with the song ALW has written for them will bring in more votes than Jade ever would singing it. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Didn't I already answer that? What part of my post was not clear about why they are, IMO, unsuitable?

 

I'll reiterate and make it as clear as I can: They gave two, frankly, dreadful performances tonight, and even though they do have talent, and I'm sure are lovely girls, have not yet proved that they can be trusted to not let the whole thing get the better of them in Moscow.

I bet Simon Cowell is kicking himself for letting the twins slip through his fingers. But he was told about these girls about 3-4 years ago.

I'm sorry right but the twins have absouletly no personalites, no charisma, no stage pressunce, they are regulrly flat and generally ruin very good songs. Explain to me again how they are our best choice compared to Jade ( :wub: ) who has everything that i mentioned.

You're right though - Simon Cowell must be tearing his hair out after passing them up ... he ended up with Leona instead, sucks to be him :rolleyes: I'm sorry if you're, like, the twins brother or something, but you're completely jaded (no pun intended) if you believe everything you're crediting the twins with. So far, they've proved themselves to be slightly above average, at best.

I never vote on any TV show but next week i will be voting for Jade because if she does not win i'l be OVERLY annoyed... i think mark is hot and the twins seem like people who would be fun on a night out but c'mon.. jade is the only one who can actually sing/dance... why don't people understand that?!!?! f***ing vote for her! lol
