Did she do anything since then though? Yes I change the name to fit it on the map, still sounds good though right? Actually it was originally FSSR Numanumayania :) I really wanted to come up with a flag featuring O-Zone or the Numa Numa guy but my mad photoshop skizz are.... actually nonexistent.
February 2, 200916 yr I'm really surprised no-one sent Alcazar before. Does it seem really cheap? I don't think so. I'm getting a bit of deja vu. I seem to remember someone mentioning Alcazar and I didn't know who they were and I'm thinking that again. :heehee:
February 2, 200916 yr Fabulous Swedish group. Very camp. They have been in Melodifestivalen a few times, but they've got plenty of songs i can use apart from that (right now I'm not sure...)
February 2, 200916 yr as for Alcazar I only know Crying At The Discotheque ...and I really wouldnt consider as a cheap but still in the other way its not a winner material...lately winners are usually brand new songs (Swedish,US,UK,AUS). Edit: brand new songs by brand new artists :) Edited February 2, 200916 yr by Addy!
February 2, 200916 yr Well, most of the big ones were gone... I don't expect to win my first time anyway :)
February 2, 200916 yr Entering a big artist doesn't mean to win. I entered Lenka and won - she's not that big  Just search for obscure songs from female pop artists and success almost guaranteed :kink:

Edit: brand new songs by brand new artists :) Cue The Good Natured  but on topic, I think Alcazar are pretty certain of qaulifying and a moderate finish (top 20) with a good unknown song however, they do have some very good songs that I believe could go top ten ^_^

February 2, 200916 yr Well, most of the big ones were gone... I don't expect to win my first time anyway :) well dear I didnt expect to win my first time aswell, but still it didnt happen even after 8 attempt :nocheer: and this is going to be 9-th time.

Actually it was originally FSSR Numanumayania :) I really wanted to come up with a flag featuring O-Zone or the Numa Numa guy but my mad photoshop skizz are.... actually nonexistent. you could ask trashley. Ashton has an old flag in the flag thread you can use. Trash made it as i needed a new one but hadn't managed to make one. A couple of days later i made the flag that we currently use. It didn't really suit Ashton much tbh
February 2, 200916 yr exactly without a doubt...new artists and obscure pop female songs are 2 main keys of winning the contest. But NOT always - The trouble is people find an obscure female artist with a 'different' sounding song and forget that for any chance of winning the contest people must actually like the artist and song. Which is why I always apply my golden rule - Only send entries you really LOVE that way you know they have some appeal and it'll make it so much more rewarding when you do well :)
February 2, 200916 yr well dear I didnt expect to win my first time aswell, but still it didnt happen even after 8 attempt :nocheer: and this is going to be 9-th time. i'm still sans victory after 13 attempts and am unlikely to get one soon if ever lmao

Obscure isn't always victory. Good song that is liked by as many people as possible = Victory Just send what you love even if it doesn't always do well. Look at FSR Rontvia and Ashton's history for examples of this :heehee:
February 2, 200916 yr lol Ashton anyway I agree about sending the one that U like and there was me sending Kardinal Offishall/Akon-Dangerous
February 2, 200916 yr Haha if that was you I apologise...I thought Trash had been editing my posts  And as always, it depends on the number of countries taking part. If there is an odd number it will just be Herzebania, and if there is an even number two countries will pre-qualify. However I was thinking of doing it slightly differently by offering the 2nd placed country the chance to autoqualify rather than requiring it. So you may turn down the opportunity, in which case the 3rd placed country has the chance to be the one to pre-qualify if the number of participating countries dictate. no I didn't edit anything, I was just wondering who it was directed at  hmm...I'm not sure whether it's a poisoned chalice to prequalify...it didn't harm Mdice in XIII, I'll think about it
February 2, 200916 yr Well seeing as DJ Earworm has been DSQ'd back to the drawing board: So losing songs from the Danish final are OK then????? In which case Nonsuch will reserve this former lead singer from Junior Senior then.... n9yUeHluifA Jeppe Breum Laursen - Lucky Boy :D one of my least favourites in the excellent Danish final, very infectious female chorus but I can't stand his voice...Hera Bjork was the second best, not that she would ever do well in BJSC...
February 2, 200916 yr exactly. Obscure isn't always victory. Good song that is liked by as many people as possible = Victory Just send what you love even if it doesn't always do well. Look at FSR Rontvia and Ashton's history for examples of this :heehee: no need to bring Headhunted and Miss Blue into this :heehee: you can see how much I love the songs that I send by the fact that they nearly all reach the top 5 of my chart, M.A.G.I.C. has been at the top of it for the past 5 weeks! I couldn't be passionate about a song that I didn't care much about
February 2, 200916 yr Hmm...Quotosibb would like to reserve Girls Aloud, September and Rachel Stevens...for now. I feel this will be my very indecisive month where I finally miss the final.
