I guess if you've won (especially 3 times, I can't speak for how Mdice must feel :kink:) you feel that there's really nothing left to prove, I've already achieved every position in the top 6, experienced flops in the final, DNQ's, hosted it three times...

 

Somehow I don't feel the need to hunt out 'winning material' anymore :heehee: I'll just send what I want to introduce people to the most, and if it does well, great...

 

I definitely knew that Example would be bottom ten material, but at least I know it's flop was down to it not being 'normal BJSC fare' as opposed to it being too bland to make any sort of impact like other bottom ten finishers...I can't believe it got 62 points actually, I had 20 points in mind :lol:

Song two: really good song, but seeing as it's been heavily hyped on Buzzjack already, seems a bit cheap for Numayania, I wouldn't use it if I were you...

Would finish well but you wouldn't really be introducing it to anyone... 4th-8th

 

Song three (Sally): love it, not sure how well it would do exactly but I reckon it would pull in pop and indie votes, unless it's that bit too subtle...8th-14th

 

Song four: pretty good song, probably wouldn't get far enough past the male barrier to reach the top ten, but top 20 is likely... 13th-19th

 

Song five: Not a huge fan...I can see it doing alright...possibly not top ten though... 12th-17th

 

I would predict them all to finish a tad higher if they'd qualified through semis but autoqualified entries I reckon are always at a slight disadvantage as they are always the only unknown quantity in the final, all of the other songs have qualified through merit and have fans already...unless of course you went with an artist already known to most like Jade, which would be the same as Mdice going with VV Brown, hyped up Buzzjack friendly female's new single...in fact, Jade could possibly win it for you but I still don't think it would be a 'worthy host entry' :P Sally Shapiro would be the most respectable entry which would also have a chance of finishing top ten, Jade would do the best, but do you want to send My Man to BJSC!?! :kink:

Thanks for your opinions Rich. I thought of not autoqualifying actually, Tron asked me not to as you may of noticed, but I thought it was kind of my reward for hosting :kink: I'm willing to give it up if you think I might do better, but like I said in the bizarrely reactivated IV thread, I already know after three days, that if/when I win, I don't really want to host :lol: Jade is not a good host entry I agree, but I'm really conflicted about sending something I really love, or something that's still Buzzjack friendly/"worthy". Here a re a couple of songs from the outer reaches of my music taste that I would send if I was totally throwing caution to the wind:
