I was reading her column a few weeks ago after he got out of jail and she was saying she doesn't know how long their relationship will last. Maybe I'm just being cynical but they've been so on/off, it seems like he's only keen to marry her now it's very likely that they wont have to spend long together. He's vile. I think the children should be left with their father (who isn't quite as bad) leaving Jack with nothing.

He's being portrayed very well in the media over the past few weeks (especially after being arrested, and the race row on Big Brother), and add that to the fact that when Jade Goody dies he'll be entitled to a lot of money too. But like I say, that might just me being suspicious. I wont call you cynical or suspicious at all mate... I call you 100% SPOT ON..... Dont be so scared to put down your thoughts on this Rooney, you're probably more right than most people on this issue than you could possibly imagine..... The facts are, this fukkin' Max-Clifford promoted media monstrosity is going to be extremly lucrative for a lot of people (not least Max "Satan" Hastings himself and the aforementioned Mr Tweed...), and, as distasteful as it may sound, well I can actually understand some people when they say sh!t like "I wish she'd hurry up and die", not because they're being insenstive, but because it seems to me that the only way for all this hype and media bullsh!t to actually stop so we can all get on with our lives is for Jade to die.... As awful you could argue all this is. How terrible a person Goody is, how she's got where she is, it all sort of phases into the background. Using your fame Jade is putting cancer in the spotlight, whether intentionally or not she's showing woman out there, young women that they can suffer from this horrible disease. My Mum suffered from ovarian cancer at a similar age to Jade and she pretty much supports what she's directly and indirectly doing. This is bound to encourage more women to get smear tests and the like and that's surely a good thing? Jade is an archetypal for this generation both through her rise to fame and death. She represents imo a change in society; the whole concept of "privacy" has evaporated and she's lived her life, for money through the media. In general society foresee a change from "dignity" and perhaps what one could for right or for wrong, call "old fashioned ways". We as a developed world are changing our attitudes and she's at the very centre of that. It's so bloody ironic too. She's such a strong example of 1984-lite culture, which of course the show she launched herself from is based around!

But then so am I & Grimly & one or two others who are not following the sheep in the "Diana-fication" of Jade. I think the most telling thing in this whole sorry sage is the silence of TV Presenter & T4 Shipwrecked contestant Jeff Brazier. After all he is only the father of Jade's two children whom has been looking after them a lot of the time away from Living TV's cameras. But he wants nothing to do with Max Clifford. Obviously because he has something lacking from most people who are sychophantically and unconditionally feeling sorry for Jade Goody, Jack Tweed & support Max Clifford's mercenery money grabbing publicity machine. It's called dignity.

Cancer. It's not something I would wish on anybody. Whatever her motives I think she's just trying to ensure her sons have a good life without her. Wouldn't anybody wish to do that for their loved ones? Of course I can't stand the constant publicity trawl that comes with it. It makes me feel ill but alas she's given herself 100% to the tabloids since she won BB so why not let them in on her dying moments as well?

This post just highlights everything that is totally wrong with the 'Celeb Culture' you seem to be celebrating... You talk of the evaporation of the concept of privacy as if that was a good thing.... Are you utterly deranged....? We should just give up our human right to privacy and let TV cameras, or, heck, the GOVERNMENT just watch us or follow our every move..... You should talk to Jeremy Bentham, no doubt you'd've loved his idea of a "panopticon prison", only difference is, people like you would like us ALL to live in a Panopticon society, and not just the bloody criminals...... Reality TV is the greatest single worst thing that's come about in the 21st Century as far as I'm concerned, and you are the living proof that it has softened up attitudes for a "surveillance culture" in which we are all in very great danger of becoming, and very soon too... And, as Norma and Craig have quite rightly pointed out, she's on seriously strong pain meds that are probably affecting her brain processes and judgement, these sorts of drugs totally fukk you up, and frankly make you seem like you're on another planet. So, should we, as a society, be allowing the media to come along and take advantage of a sick person who is clearly in no sort of mental condition to make rational choices for herself......?
