February 4, 200916 yr Circus should be another week in top 10. Very good sales for Womanizer and big jump for If U Seek Amy. Amazing!
February 4, 200916 yr Kelly Clarkson may still be #1, but I was surprised but how much sales slipped for the top 10. "Single Ladies" airplay is dropping and "My Life Sucks" airplay is increasing, so it could come down to internet streaming. I personally now look at the Digital Songs chart as the true US music popularity chart. Next week Eminem, Dr. Dre, etc. will likely hit #1.
February 4, 200916 yr Kelly is number one this week i can guarantee it. Shes top 10 on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts plus number one on the Digital. Yep number one. Just under half a mill in two weeks
February 4, 200916 yr Kelly is number one this week i can guarantee it. Shes top 10 on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts plus number one on the Digital. Yep number one. Just under half a mill in two weeks :wub:Oh. Is this the song that will only peak at "19" in the UK?? :heehee: Keri has a BIG Hit :cheer: So NOW Hopefully there is a Green Light for an album to go ahead! :cheer:
February 4, 200916 yr Kelly is number one this week i can guarantee it. Shes top 10 on the Top 40 and Hot AC charts plus number one on the Digital. Yep number one. Just under half a mill in two weeks  Yes Kelly is on 36 million and Beyonce is 'only' on 135million, so no.1 is Kelly!
February 4, 200916 yr great jump by The Ting Tings!!! Hoorray!!!! Hope Leona can make the top 100 this time...
February 4, 200916 yr Yes Kelly is on 36 million and Beyonce is 'only' on 135million, so no.1 is Kelly! Where are you getting million from  And i dunno if your being sarcastic? Edited February 4, 200916 yr by Joao.
February 4, 200916 yr Where are you getting million from  And i dunno if your being sarcastic? Audience Impressions. Basically Beyonce has been "exposed" to 135million people through Radio and Kelly's been "exposed" to 35million. Puts perspective on Bey's sales doesn't it LOL, 135million and she's JUST ABOUT to pass 2million in sales LOL
February 4, 200916 yr Where are you getting million from  And i dunno if your being sarcastic? I added up the figures lol! Kelly is safe, SHE IS NO.1 , cos Beyonce isnt enough ahead on airplay! N.B. Kelly might have increased by over 1000 plays on top 40 to go into the Top 10 but it's only gone up in audience there by nearly 5 million (which actually is a bit of an under performance for that amount of growth in plays)!
February 4, 200916 yr Audience Impressions. Basically Beyonce has been "exposed" to 135million people through Radio and Kelly's been "exposed" to 35million. Puts perspective on Bey's sales doesn't it LOL, 135million and she's JUST ABOUT to pass 2million in sales LOL In fairness Beyonce's sales are a lil mismatch due to the fact that most ppl want to dance to the video, and it's now the biggest selling video ever on US iTunes apparently, so has lost loads of sales due to that, BUT without the video, it wouldnt have been as successful as it has been!
February 4, 200916 yr LOL Mikal. Thanks for clearing that up :P And sorry Lightyears if i may have caused offence with the sarcastic comment.
February 9, 200916 yr In the digital songs top 50: 5 songs have sold more than 3 million downloads; 7 songs have sold more than 2 million but less than 3 million downloads; 8 songs have sold more than 1 million but less than 2 million downloads. So 40% of the Top 50 have sold over a million. I wonder when the RIAA is going to ditch the Gold designation of 500,000+ and move it to 1 million plus. Maybe 500,000+ should be silver, with Platinum going to the old level of 2 million+. It now seems pretty easy to sell 1 million plus. The latest Nickelback single spent only 1 week on the Hot100 top 10, and is already over 1.3 million in sales.
