UK climbed very much. I adore the song now  Germany make the very high new entry and probably will stay in there unless Norway (Alex), Greece or Sweden choose a better entry :heehee:

Jade's song just defines amazing doesn't it  especially in its new tweaked form

I still think Norway have the potential to send the best song this year (either Tone or Alexander Rybak) and to be fair, I don't see why on earth they would choose somebody other than one of these two

Jade's song is incredible. It's very important that she's awesome singing live

I 100% agree - it'd be an absolute crime and i swear i would not watch ESC anymore if it happened :kink:

I can't stop listening to My Time, it really is fantastic. Not ruling out the possibility of us winning the whole thing now myself, and I think it's our best song since Katrina and the Waves.

I can't see us winning at all to be honest, I hope we are not bitterly disappointed  a lot of the reactions on ESCToday have been less than good, calling it bland, but hopefully the new arrangement will please them more

I just hope we don't look back and laugh at our high expectations in four months when Armenia walk away with the competition and the UK trawl in 23rd or something...

I think it's more likely if that happens, that we'll pull out altogether

we might well do to be honest...because My Time is excellent...

the only reason it *might* flop is that it's dated although clearly steps have been taken to modernise it in the last couple of weeks

:o I'm not a Eurovision expert but do these polls often reflect the final results? Moderate success probably wouldn't do much but a BIG success would possibly revive public opinion, as from my perspective it seems to be considered as a bit of a joke! However, i don't know much tbh, the UK's is the only entry i've heard.

These fan polls aren't usually very accurate. They are only fans of the contest, and not the general public. It's interesting to see though. To be honest I don't think it will change the perception of the contest, it has always been seen as a joke here, but I think it's because of our attitude to Europe and our non-acceptance of foreign language pop...
