Posted June 16, 200619 yr http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b7/Robzombiebw.jpg do you think Rob Zombie's artist gorefest will be compromised by genre masters dimention films on his halloween re-imagining or do you think he will be allowed without much interference by the company to go make a film for the real gorehounds and not just teenage audiences?
June 16, 200619 yr Author http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5d/Dimension_films_logo.gif production line horror or not?
June 17, 200619 yr I certainly hope it's NOT gonna be 'Production Line' horror, but I have faith in Mr Zombie, his first two horror films have genuinely lived up to the name (especially "Devil's Rejects" which reminds me a lot of early Wes Craven, Tobe Hooper, Romero, etc in the general mood and tone of the film..). I think that Zombie's "Halloween" remake will be at least as good as Alexandre Aja's re-imagining of "Hills Have Eyes".... I think that John Carpenter will let Mr Zombie have a free reign...

As its not LGF up in Canada but Dimension, who do seem to churn them out (good ones and the bad ones), at this moment in two minds as they could go for the maximum audience but seing as there has been changes in ownership they might go extreme. and as for AA, the original (15 rated) supernatural thriller Into The Mirror wasnt that great, so let us hope he can improve on it and make it not a straight remake.
June 25, 200619 yr i think it is being remade but it also has something with why michael myers wanted to kill so its sort of a remake prequal
June 25, 200619 yr OOOOHHH RAHHH!. Gosh I do hope they hurry up and release something Halloween-esque soon. It's clearly been too long since they last said Hall9ween was going to be released . GUH.

June 26, 200619 yr OOFT. Rob Zombie's going to be directing and writing it . Is this a good thing or bad thing do you reckon? Good thing. Trust me. As long as he's allowed to do what he wants and doesn't have the producer breathing down his neck that is.... <_<
April 8, 200718 yr This is one remake I actually have a bit of faith in because it;s being done by Rob Zombie... And this guy knows Horror.... The grainy, grungy looking camerawork is gonna make this a pretty good film I reckon...
April 8, 200718 yr this is absolutely one of the main horror movies that simply doesn't need a remake - at all, by whoever. Pointless, cheap and nasty.
April 8, 200718 yr this is absolutely one of the main horror movies that simply doesn't need a remake - at all, by whoever. Pointless, cheap and nasty. Normally I'd agree, because usually these remakes are all done by talentless hacks... But Rob Zombie is very far from being a talentless hack, as "Devils Rejects" proves, he knows how to make a truly disturbing film that gets under your skin.. I genuinely think this could be good...
April 8, 200718 yr rob zombies brilliant, although all ive ever seen him do is living dead girl. never actually seen any of his films i take it i wont get in to see this at the cinema??

April 8, 200718 yr Rob Zombie, what a wierd name  He was a Rock Star before becoming director, it's his stage name... He formed the band White Zombie (named after a Classic, cult 1930s horror film starring Bela Lugosi..) back in the early 90s, actually beating Marilyn Manson to the punch with the whole "Spooky"-sounding Industrial Gothic Rock with Horror-themed videos (in so many ways, he and White Zombie are vastly superior to Manson..)... He's done a few solo albums as well, the best one being "Hellbilly Deluxe".... I heartily recommend you check out tunes such as "More Human Than Human", "Thunderkiss '65", "Black Sunshine" (with Iggy Pop), "Living Dead Girl" and "Dragula"..... And considering the films he makes, do you not think that it is a very appropriate nom de plume for a Horror Film director...?
April 8, 200718 yr He even has his own Action figure. http://roswell.fortunecity.com/king/382/zombie3.jpg
