February 9, 200916 yr ^ Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that others don't too ... It's a good fun popsong and I actually can see it going to #01 quit easily, if only for a week.
February 9, 200916 yr I really hope this doesn't end up #1, it is awful. The girls have done much better on their album that should be more #1-worthy than this.
February 10, 200916 yr Okay, watch the video (which comliments the song so much and has the nessesary comedic vibe) and tell me it won't go number 1! The Saturdays - Just Cant Get Enough oh dear.... ok, the video was abit of fun, but why oh why have they resorted to performing in their underwear? its an established fact that the more flesh on view = poorer the music. and whilst frankie has actually put on make-up that compliments her (for once) , this smacks of desperation... they pulled out all the stops and resorted to anything to sell a few more copies. Because you hate it, you THINK it will go top 20 or you WANT it to? I think the latter is the case. ................... and you dont? THERE ISNT ANY HYPE ANYMORE, of course there isnt, hence a third rate girl group who has been charting for 6 months has landed one of the biggest promotional gigs of the year! I honestly could take or leave this song even when it was sung by Depeche Mode, it's hardly a classic so in my opinion it could hardly be ruined. Norma spot on norma! But this is a MUSIC chart though! I've bought a few Comic Relief singles in the past because I LIKED THE SONG and this is certainly no 'Who Do You Think You Are' it's for a good cause but it's easy to just give 79p directly rather than help an awful song that you don't like get to #1! totally agreed nicky! :)
February 10, 200916 yr Eww. They've just taken two steps back   Good luck to them though
February 10, 200916 yr Which Girls Aloud video is it trying to rip off? When I first saw this video I was reminded a bit of "Can't Speak French" but only because the girls aren't wearing that much in either video and they both do moves that would appeal to the dirty men watching.
February 10, 200916 yr Which Girls Aloud video is it trying to rip off? A mixture, the campness of The Show and then the style of CSF, especially the way that one fans herself with a feather fan at the start just like kimberley. They pull off the campness but not the style. It just generally feels like you know these girls have been watching the GA vids closely and are trying to grab some of the fun and sassiness of their videos. February 10, 200916 yr You hope a charity single flops? They wont be making much money from singles anyway...
February 10, 200916 yr What?! Over half a million pounds will be raised if this track sells over 175k, thats a LOT for dying children in Africa.

That's the biggest load of BS I've ever seen. So Kimberley from Girls Aloud was the first person ever to wave a feather fan in a video? You're telling me they sat down watching all of Girls Aloud's videos and thought "Hmm, let's nick that idea"? They have people working for them on concepts etc. They won't have come up with the idea themselves.
February 10, 200916 yr I still can't see any similarities in this vid. I can SORT OF understand the 'Can't Speak French' comparisons, but they're nothing MAJOR. The only similarities I see is the fact that they're dressed up in Costumes and do a Dance Routine... oh and the fact that they're a 5-piece Girl Group... Maybe people are just trying too hard to find similarities in the video because they want to think they copied Girls Aloud or whatever, and don't want to see it as The Saturday's actually being... :o Shock Horror... The Saturdays.

The Saturdays. Well that wouldnt really explain why i have thought none of the other saturdays videos are anything like girls alouds. Just this one. And coincidentally, i think maybe people are just trying too hard to find no similarities in the videos because they want to believe the saturdays are this major new force girl band with their own style and personality etc. Erm, no. Attractive girls with catchy pop - seen it a million times before.

They have people working for them on concepts etc. They won't have come up with the idea themselves. Well, find another girl band member who waves a feather fan like that in a video? And cant speak french was a very popular video, why wouldnt they want to be inspired from it? And i know they have people working on the concepts of the videos, but they are probably the same people from girls alouds camp
February 10, 200916 yr Ok, Girls Aloud were compared to the Spice Girls and now The Sats are being compared to Girls Aloud - it has been and always will happen. Lets just hope The Sats do the same as GA and prove everyone wrong.
February 10, 200916 yr What?! Over half a million pounds will be raised if this track sells over 175k, thats a LOT for dying children in Africa. They NEVER get 100% of the profits. Especially if its a cover which this is.

Lets just hope The Sats do the same as GA and prove everyone wrong. I thought their first 3 videos were quite original actually. Especially Up and ITIL. I am not the type of person to start comparing videos coz i usually never see similarities but this new one seems so far from what i thought they were all about.
February 10, 200916 yr They NEVER get 100% of the profits. Especially if its a cover which this is. id be surprised if dave ghan (or whoever wrote it...vince clarke?) havnt waived their royalties and donated them too to the charity. i expect it was a condition of the track being used.
